Troll King - useless for pvp?

Only have about 30 minutes on my medium stamblade but I can already notice a huge difference in survival compared to pre patch. I was using troll king as crutch cause medium armour sucks at surviving. Just wondering what other medium armour users are thinking about the change. Atm I think troll king is in a really bad spot.

Troll King is king on Stamina Nightblade. However if you think it's under-preforming for you try Bloodspawn or 1x Pirate Skele and 1x Lord Warden.

Troll King was a component in several high health regen troll builds in No CP Battlegrounds after Morrowind. I'll be interested to see if it makes a comeback there. I imagine its less useful in Cyrodiil if you were using it for mitigation with the removal of AOE caps.

Too many peeps were using it as a crutch to hide behind going full blast on damage...

Now they'll have to make a choice on survivability vs raw damage out put...

is the change from 60% to 50% i run a heavy armor s&b both bars stamina NB so i only have vigor, and it still works great for me. i didnt even notice the difference until i just looked at it now. but im also heavy armor s&b so i dont insta die at 50 %

It shouldn’t be different unless you’re being hit with defile. Unless they broke it...

Pre-Dragon Bones Troll King HP-regen affect wasn´t affected by healing debuffs such as major/minor defile. ZOS fixed that this patch. Also it seems that the 1 piece bonus of Trollking isn´t working correctly. Those might be the reasons why.

They should have just reduced the healthregen a bit instead of nerfing it as a counter against these cheesy defile builds.

If they changed the Troll King set 2-piece bonus to now be affected by Major Defile/Minor Defile they have not "fixed it" (Troll King set) but instead have changed the effect of Major/Minor Defile, which is what I believe they have done.

The original scenario effects "Healing", not "Health recovery" but that's all semantics. With ESO it's all about tool tips and highlights how confusing the tool tips, effects and types of damage/heal/recovery, etc. can be.

I'd like to know how may people use Troll King and in which settings, Trials, Cyrodiil, etc.?

It´s a change/fix to TK specifically. All other sources of HP-regen was affected by major/minor defile (since a few updates back). With the exception of werewolf skill Claw of Anguish which is bugged and doesn´t affect HP-regen (Not sure if that was fixed this patch)

I run vigor/rally and not vigor/momentum, so troll king was too much heal and lack in other places when I tried it. I run master bow, 2 sets and 1 monster piece, so can't have 2 monster now.
