The helmet thing does feel a bit awkward. How do I toggle off the helmet on my costumes?

I agree... I want my helmet hidden... I don't want to create a costume to hide it!! I don't care about "polymorph" hemets...

    Worst change ever!!

Plus, instructions state to go to Outfit station to hide helmet now, and yet you go there and there is no "Hide Helmet" option!!! The F Zos!!

UPDATE: Found the place to toggle hide helmet...

Go into your Collections Menu and down to appearance. It's under Hats...

Following on from the pointless champion sytem and Dumb Tamiel we now have the "screw you" Costume system. Thanks for nothing Zosers. You only look at lining your pockets.

Why not leave the Helmet Toggle where it was in the game options menu. Geeze ZOS what delve dreamed this up. Most likely he or she does not even play the game. Please listen to your players and undo this cluster mess you have created for no reason.

It doesn't work any longer. I thought you were onto something and logged on to try it but, no.

No, you really do not. The "Hide Your Helmet" hat is free. Just open up you hats and put it on, or put it on your quickbar.

You needed an addon to hotkey the toggle before. Having it on quickbar is slightly more inconvenient than a dedicated key but far better than sifting through menus every time. And you absolutely do not have to pay anything for it.

No, leave it this way, as it's the first step to hiding shoulders and other armour slots.

The outfit system separates the hiding option into a "when I wear this combo - make it look like this" mechanism that will eventually work independently of the "invisible hat" thing. And the way the hat can be toggled on or off is a plus.

POLYMORPH hide is in Game Settings where the old hide helmet was, Hide normal is in collecctions, then outfits - 3 places to do 1 simple thing

but I guess that's why they call them gooies & not Graphical User Interfaces :)

Uh, it took several button presses (on console) to get to the option, let alone the fact that you had to scroll past some sliders which could slide were you not careful with your joystick, let alone the fact that you had to open your menu to get to it.

Now it's right by all the other appearance stuff, AND you can quickslot it.One button toggle? Yes please.
