Now I have to wait for 5 to 6 hours every Monday before I can play the game. I've been an ESO plus member since the game servers went free and prior to that paid the subscription ever since the game became live. I also have three separate accounts so that both my teenage kids can play, yet since the change of server offline time changed we can't play as often. Why was the time changed? Was it because the servers in the US were going offline mid-evening and late afternoon in the Western seaboard? Why should those of us in the European server domain be penalized in this way? Why can't you service the US and Eurpoean servers at different times instead of taking them both offline at the same time?

- Update 23Ice Furnace: This item set now grants Spell Damage, rather than Weapon Damage for the 4 piece bonus
Simple reason: money
It seemed for them better to make the downtime for NA player as good as possible even if it means neglecting EU players.
Most of us have as well a job or some professional things to do during daytime - so why are you complaining, this is a good time to do that - just because you cannot play for a couple of hours on a single day, you are making such a fuzz about it? Seriously? Or are you just kidding around with us here?

As someone already said it, it's 1.30-5 pm in EU. I would know I live in EU. So, most of people are either at work or in school or on their way back from work or school. So, yeah, most of EU players aren't really affected by the maintenance time. And it's rather worrying when a player gets all dramatic because once a week the server is off for a few hours (max 3). I'd say it borders addiction?

So um, you still at work now, or happily playing ESO on the EU server? How are those fabled "few hours (max 3)" working for you now?

Huh? Not sure what you mean
but..
It's almost 8pm in EU. I came back home 2 hours ago. I did some stuff, ate, relaxed,
I just finished some more work and now reading again the forums for more patch info and maybe bugs reports.
I will log in to the game around 10pm.. or just enjoy @xynode streaming. Who knows...
With few exceptions, during weekends (if I am not out) or holidays, I usually can afford two hours max for ESO.
But..what is your point again?

A: Be at work
B: asleep
C: crying they can't play ESO
But that also counts 8 hours from now, and 16.
