If your standard reaction to not playing a game for 1 day is complaint and compensation, you might need some professional help.

Agreed. They must give us compensation for inconvenience. At least 1 day of ESO Plus.

The localizations is in the client, not in the servers. You can perfectly play on NA in French or German.
This sounds more like they accidentally dumped the servers into a volcano or something like this.

Unfortunately server maintenance is a necessary evil that comes with running a live game
