EU players should get an ESO plus extention or some kind of compensation.

• Xbox: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – March 19, 6:00AM EDT (10:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC)

We are ALWAYS the one server of the two that gets the delayed maintenance issues, always. It is getting ridiculous that NA gets more social maintenance times anyway and then gets their server up first almost every time a new DLC is deployed.

Strangely enough that wasn't always true. In the earliest days there were a couple times when someone accidentally hit EU when they meant NA and messed the maintenance up. Weird how no one remembers this anymore.0 -

Pretty sure I remember they did compensate players at some point, quite recently. I forget what platform and for what reason though.
Regardless, the TOS protects them in such cases, but that doesn't mean they aren't human and can't show compasion towards their loyal players. Just because they don't have to compensate, doesn't mean it wouldn't be a nice gesture

when your server maint is peak time every single time, then maybe you have a slightly valid point. Monday night is totally out for me and many others when maint happens. ALL NIGHT. you know the time when people here arent at work and want to play

Do not bother yourself, as mentioned they will never compensate one server for anything.
Last time they compensated anything was one of the holiday events, where a bug caused serious issues and they gave us 2 weeks extra (or something like that).mDKs still need a lot of love!0 -

or was it that the operator typed "9" when dismissing a dialogue box (on the German server)...

Anyone with even the slightest experience of MMOs knows better than to expect to play on big patch days, and will plan accordingly.
In this case we can play on the PTS, I imagine also the NA server, or there are other games too. There's even a life awaiting us all a step or two away from the computer.3 -

My guess is that people are more upset about prolonged offtime for the EU server only again while the US server is already up than they are about the update time in general. If I remember correctly this isn't the first time this happend. Take into account that the standard maintenance time is better for US servers as well and you got a multitude of little reasons that build a heap.
Personally, I don't really care, even if it's my off day today, but I can see why others are upset when it all comes together.0 -
