To improve Nightblade Tanks (and to a lesser extent healers) without overly buffing their DPS, solo PVE, or PvP capabilities, three changes need to happen: They need a better way to get stamina back while holding block, they need some way to lock down mobs, and they need some form of group support.

I have a feeling NB are exactly where ZoS intend wrt perma-block. The real issue with that is there are classes that are not, and because of that NB are at a massive advantage. The other issue is perception, it's almost irrelevant these days whether you need to perma-block or not, the fact is perception means if you don't perma-block you can't tank. Then there are fights like the axes, where it's needed <currently>. Was in vAA last night actually, and couldn't help wondering whether the changes to block cost are going to mean 2 tanks will be on the axes in future...

Good point, gave an Awesome, it’s not meant to be a cakewalk like it can be

    Thanks :)

I'd just like every class to be vaguely comparable within the chosen role, and that includes the perception of each class/role.

Right now there are some real big holes in that balance, with NB tanks being particularly close to my heart (and my area of greatest knowledge) but they aren't alone. DK healers spring to mind too. What should not be happening is one class/role gets 're-visioned' whilst the others remain untouched.

I hear you buddy, played since Beta and remember once all classes could do all roles in their own way

I have retired my NB from PvP cause it bores me - like many times over the years and myself and my guild are trying to think of some off-meta setups to facilitate this and keep running cirlces with it becuase other classes do different roles better - this wasn’t alway the case!

Were there ever any idications of when class balancing may happen? wrt. the skill trees becoming separated into their own distinct roles.
