I agree gold is easy to obtain ... but your comments are a little too cavalier about how much the outfitter actually costs.

If outfit system will only requite gold use for a specific style - then basically all of the style materials market prices at trading guilds might go crazy - or there will be simply no one selling them anymore. Sure - those will be still needed for a specific crafting writ to complete - but that will be the only use.
So lets say imagine you have a crafting writ that rewards you with like 100 crating vouchers but it requires a "Dro-m'Athra" style... and no one is selling it crafting style mats for that style anymore.
ZOS should just tone down gold price of using outfit station and add a material style cost instead.
Yes it is. I can easily have 150k a week doing basicalnothing, jsut playing casually.
I'm so glad this came up 2 days before release. Such a bad idea. I have been playing since beta, still I don't have all motifs on my main. Sure, if I had focused on that then yeah, I probably would have them but it's just not interesting, farming motifs all day long. So...Yes it is. I can easily have 150k a week doing basicalnothing, jsut playing casually.
Lies, lies and lies. Unless playing casually involves farming mats, motifs, writs, telvars and AP then you're not making 150k a week. Not in a million years. But casual gameplay includes some daily pledges which do not give you gold, maybe some normal Trials and/or some vet Trials which would give you some gold and then you have PvP where if you're just casual you will get stomped so, no gold for you. I really, really... really don't see how casual gameplay gives you 150k gold a week, and how so many others claim the same thing. Please explain.

Explain urself, how is this ruining someone's fun? By making his ass to actually do something?Taleof2Cities wrote: »2. The outfitter isn't cheap if you're mixing in rare motif styles. Is 10k really that much? Are u serious?
I do guild and wrothgar dailies, which gives me a few pages now and then, but I wouldn't call that farming. Collecting resources is what I do beetween waiting for dolmens during FG daily, because I couldn't be bothered to ride to another one. That!'s how lazy I am in this game. I also do some pickpocketing, that gives me about 5k a day.
I dont do writs at all. I have my crafting maxed and I can't be bothered to do them anymore.

What you just said: Omg I'm so rich! Wait...other people aren't rich? lol wtaf?
It is known for now, that already known styles on your main/crafter will be avaliable on your alt. Why tho? It makes no sense, considering that all achievments are not account wide. Fact itself that the system is not even that pricy, why not making ur alt require to know certain styles u want? While casual side would get hit, motifs would get far more demanded therefore gold could become more valuable. So far, gold is totaly worhtless and way to easy to obtain.

What concern me the most that actual ppl agree with u
Lets say it makes u a day to get 10k, is it really that much? To work entire day to get the look u wanted?
I buy what I need/want and I am never poor. Its pathetic, no initiative required whatsoever.

Crafting Motifs
With the release of the Outfit System, we've adjusted the drop rates for a number of Crafting Motifs to help ensure certain impressive or prestigious Motifs retain a degree of rarity.

Why is the thread still running? It's a terrible idea that is unnecessarily restrictive of players cosmetic customization. End of Discussion
