How does resto ulti actually work?

The tooltip says it's část on "you or a nearby all", but the target is explained as "self". So if I use it, it's not certain I'm gonna heal myself? I don't understand. In such case, it would be hardly useful at PvP.

Same as any other heal that is not AoE: it hits the target with lowest health. IIRC, resto ult hits 6 times. Each pulse can hit a different target. It is the strongest heal ult for groupsize 4 or lower. It is worth for the buffs in any group size.

Remember that shield is halved in PvP. Barrier has maybe 12 to 15k shield strength and damage to it isn't reduced by mitigation. Barrier is strong in large group situations maybe, but even less so with next patch and removal of aoe caps.

And the cost thing is one of the things that make resto ult so strong. It is up very fast even after popping it.

Afaik, it can hit any friendly target and is not limited to group only. But I am not too sure right now, I must admit.

And does it heal any allied players or only those I'm grouped with? Thx btw. I didn't know each pulse can hit different person.

Btw isn't reviving barrier still much better? It's a bit more xpensive, but it still looks like a nobrainer.

Hi @Leandor I didn't know that about the tick being able to hit different people is that 100% correct?

So the LIfe Champion morph would give Major Force to multiple people in a group of each took damage while it was ticking?

I thought it just hit one target and ticked away

Each tick chooses the lowest health ally and applies 1 heal + 5(?) seconds of buffs I forget the length of the buffs

It can hit everyone in the group theoretically

But in reality, if only one person in your group is taking damage, that person will have the lowest HP for each tic of the resto ult, so only one person will get the buff.
