It is absent of regulation.
But with so many people excluded from being able to Sell it is nowhere near an "open market" and THAT is why prices are so high.
All The Best

Hahahahahahahahaha....
OP in other words: How do you dare charge more than what I think is ok? Be ashamed!
This is a market. People can charge whatever they want. If it's too expensive in your opinion, don't buy it. If people think they can get away with charging higher prices, let them. They either find someone who pays the price or they don't.
Does this merit a forum complain post? I wouldn't think so, but apparently it must be complained about.

You can't read either? It's a shame.

Some like it while others beg for tight regulations.
Kinda of like what’s going on in most political discussions worldwide.
Seems fine to me, buy or don’t buy.....ignore or send them a question as their name is on the listing
I really doubt you read what I wrote? Short recap: Dreug Wax goes for 7500. Some guy sells one for 7500. SAME guy sells 2 for 16 000 or even more - say even 18 000 isn't all unusual. Why?
This isn't some odd unusual occurrence either, but more a rule than an exception. Why?
I'm not asking for regulations, cartels, new rules or anything - I simply wonder if there's something I've missed, why are people doing it? Normally, you would probably see someone selling two 7.5k wax for 14-14.5k, if it was the way the world normally works, at least not MORE than 15k.
I read it ....
Why should they do it the way you or I may think is more logical tho?
It’s an open market....sort one way and it pops up, sort another and it pops up
Maybe try it yourself, it may change your thoughts on it
I'm sure others have already stated this.
When you buy a stack of items, you're paying for the convenience of not having to brows 45 different vendors buying a handful at a time. I'd much rather pay an extra 10-20% for a stack of 200 than go around and buy a bunch of smaller stacks all over the place.
Applying this logic, you may see someone post the same item multiple times for gradually increasing prices. Obviously the cheaper ones will sell first but eventually the more expensive ones will be bought by someone who doesn't feel like spending all day looking for a bargain.
The sooner you buy what you're shopping for, the sooner you can go back to doing whatever it is you like doing. If I spend an hour traveling to different vendors, I'm missing out on a potential 10k-50k I could easily be making doing something else.
Some people are willing to price stuff high and sit on the listing to see if it sells, some aren't and price at market or lower to move the product (and those often sell quickly sometimes leaving only the high price stuff showing).

Are you all a bunch of illiterate parrots, or what is this? Seriously? Or is this some kind of big Tamriel conspiracy I've sniffed up? It's a free market, it's a free market - yes, I don't need to see that repeated. As if I didn't know. What I wonder is why - literally - are people selling stuff this way, it doesnt make any sense to me. You were on some kind of trail there by elaborating on sorting search results. Good, a little constructive dialogue.

I’ve been around since the closed beta so I think you’re asking a literal question hoping for a response that will agree with or which is align with your way of thinking. That’s not going to happen.
The simple answer is they list things this way cause 1, it’s easy, 2 people buy and 3, as a result of how the UI is designed.
Don’t apply much else to it
