i collect them. It baffles me sometimes why they need to send the whipser in the first place. But it's like a collectible every time.

In pvp, I usually just say "thanks, lol" and if they answer back and it's something stupid then I ignore them so I don't accidentally invite them/their alts to my trials/ic ect when we have pug spots.

Nope, which is surprising because I used to PVP so much back in the day you'd think I was bound to annoy someone at some point, but eh, I'm not one to complain about a lack of hate whispers.

Usually over nodes. Either you legitimately beat someone to it and they object or there's lag and you don't see them. Had one person get really irate (I honestly didn't see her!) when I was picking a lock and she started pelting me with mud balls. Never said a word but pelted me for awhile. It was kind of funny.

I only got it once when we kicked a useless player from a dungeon. He wasn't happy when we decided not to carry him.

The enemy player genuinely thought I was giving them a compliment.

I don't PvP, so that's probably the reason. But, one time I got a whisper where the guy said I was so ugly. I apologized to him and said that I was trying to make my character look just like him and that I was sorry he didn't like the result. That is the only hate whisper I ever got.

I very rarely get hate tells since I don't tbag or send hate tells. If I whisper, it's to say gf or make a joke or two with the people who kill and/or tbag me

Closest I ever recieved to hatewhispers was in Cyrodil... I was there with my mageboy, hunting shyshards... got taken down by an yellow DK, respawned at a nearby outpost, took a bio break, came back only to find the very same DK taking down the guards at the very outpost I had respawend at. Blindsided him while he was busy, and got my revenge... then got a whisper of the "wanna try that again when I am not busy with a guard?" sort, and politely replied "nope, we did that before, and you would just slap me down as easily as then..."; we messaged a little, agreed that he had the bigger PvPness, and left it at that.

I think the whispers happen mostly when someone is very -good- at PvP, or when someone is very -fast- at snatching up nodes/chests. Since I tend to be at best adequate at pvP, and tend to not race peple to nodes or chests, but go elsewhere if I notice someone aiming for the same as me... I guess I just seldom raise anyones ire enough to start typing in the game.

PvP and it gets me grinning ear to ear everytime. It's one of the only things that keep me interested in the game sadly lol. Feels good to clap someone then have them write you how bad you are.

Yes.

The other, while PUGing for pledges, we got a sorc "tank" with 13K hp.

If that wasn't enough, after more than 5 minutes (we had beaten the first boss and were standing before the next one, which was the first oen required for the pledge) he had not yet entered the instance nor said anything, so we kicked him.

Just after he left the group he entered the instance and estarted yelling and then whispering at me.

Things like "WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS!!!11!! i JUST GOT THERE!!!"
"iM A VERY GOOD TANK, IVE DONE LOTS OF VETERAN TRIALS LIKE THIS"

And an assortment of insults and such.
