No. You know why? I pay to play, pay a sub, buy crowns and I have enough add ons for myself, I do not work here - I took a screen shot, reported one and posted this.

ZOS needs to care as much as I do or I will just not care. I am not in the Wax market, so bothers me not if it's cheap.

Thats a terrible attitude. Ive watched bots destroy games. Its as much the players responsibility as it is the developers. Working together is the only way to keep them in check. Devs dont have the time to scour the entire map looking for bots, while players are there already, playing.

I would gladly report bots. I stopped reporting bots last year because I realized that I was more invested in bot removal than they are. That is not a healthy place to be.

Even with an add-on, and mine is a lot more sophisticated than Bot Scanner, it is not worth my time to report them. It is an investment of my time to report them. The bots are still there, day after day, whether I report them or not. Yeah, ZOS eventually gets to them, but it takes too long. The botters are allowed to run for days, weeks, occasionally months.

On top of that, I am not 100% certain that ZOS is taking actions against botters. They might just be taking action against gold sellers that happen to be running bots. If someone is just botting for fun, and not selling gold, ZOS might not care enough to deal with them. That might explain why bots are allowed to run for so long. It takes ZOS time to determine if they are linked to gold selling. If that is the case, I don't want to be reporting people that ZOS is not interested in. It wastes my time, and theirs.

Two months since I last reported a bot, some of them are still in the game, doing the same thing, in the same place. They have not been removed from the game, yet. If they are not bots, which would be an incredible revelation, then I am reporting innocents, and I don't want to do that, either.

So, until those few are out of the game, I fish. Bot hunting is now more of a passive intellectual hobby. If I see them, I add them to my list. I see them every day. I have seen 183 unique bots in the last two weeks. Even with bot reporting automation, that is a lot of bot reporting. I am sure that is just a fraction of what ZOS has going on out there.

Bots are a sign overland content is too easy. If mobs were to hit for 30K+ and have upwards of 500K health, longer patrol routes and more complex attacks, such trains will be broken very fast, and human players will have a bit of exercise before they go into dungeons :)

Not necessarily. There were 3 sets of bot trains in Fallen Grotto yesterday and today.
1 set had about 7 players ..all templars so of course those mobs would go down quick.
Next set had 4 players..all templars and it took a bit longer to kill the mob
Another sap was botting on his own but using same pathing software and died numerous times to a single bear.

I reported one from each group..said they were part of a bigger bot train, gave location, date and time so they can check logs for all the other names if they want.

Now it didn't prevent me from doing my leather farming cause those bears were insta respawning.

That's why I was suggesting those numbers. 30K+ is enough to one-shot someone who's not blocking or dodging it, like a bot or bad player no matter how much heal he spams. Add a hard CC/Knockdown to that and even shields can't save the botter or simpleton from insta-gib ;)

If only we could get something like this on consoles. Even a few more GMs to catch them. There was a huge amount of them then they seemed to die off for a bit but they're back again & even inviting non bot players to their groups now.

They were in Rivenspire on Xbox EU farming skeevers to the North if that helps.

    How about random events?

Randomly appear and teleport you somewhere, do some daft wee task and get a reward.

Upsets the bots farming patterns and gives players something fun to do whenever it strikes :)
