Ability To See Group Members in Cyrodiil on Direction Bar

I know people have mentioned this before, but why can only non-crown people see Crown, but can't see each other, and Crown can't see other players on the direction bar? It is so annoying to follow and track people when you aren't in direct sight of them. You have to keep stopping and looking at your map. Why is this a thing? Is this intentional or some massively long overdue oversight?

I'm guessing this is for console, where something like that would be a very helpful option.

If you are on PC and having the same problem, I use Votan's Minimap to keep track of group members and Crown Customizer to be able to better keep track of crown.

I really want this as well and I am on PC and I don't think we should have to install add ons for everything. Having to open your map on the battlefield to locate your friend usually ends poorly.

Totally amazing how many years this game has been out and that this isn't something we can change in options.

Yeah, wasn't clear. Xbox. It's annoying even if just running around. But even worse when in combat, and someone says "over here" and you have to stop and look at map to see where they are. Putting little icons on the direction bar can't possibly take much or make the game any laggier.
