THIS is what worked for me. Even quests, drops trials... you name it... there's just no hope to get your stuff unless you roll an opposite stats character. Then on that character you'll get all the goodies you missed for years on your main.

I've actually found the way to beat this and it works, almost without fail.

In a given dungeon:

Farm the magicka based set you're after on your stam alts.
Farm the stamina based set you're after on your mag alts.

Follow these instructions, and the third, unwanted set will drop almost every time...

This has actually been working for me. I wanted Bahraha's Curse in heavy - obtainable only through RNG via the TG story quests as far as I know, so I ran through it on my heavy armor wearing tank. Finished the entire quest line and obtained NOT A SINGLE piece of heavy. Plenty of medium and light, however.

Decided it was quick skill points and began running alts through the same story. Two alts later, 1 story complete, another at the 3/4 mark - the tank has his heavy pieces. Each one obtained from light armor wearing toons.

I don't know how they know, but they DO know.

each class has a role that eso set up so in thier mind the drops are probally right to the class , this would explain a lot i think

I didn't gave up and continue the nma farming , around 70 rounds still no one hunt leader 1h weapon.

Below was the hunt summary so far
2 hunt magic rings
3 hunt hp rings
1 hunt stam ring
2 hunt magic neck
2 hunt hp neck
1 hunt stam neck
1 divine shield

I believe Zos is running an optional random system.

I will update again after 140 rounds.
