That would suck to spend 50 vouchers and get a Daedric plan you can buy on guild traders for 100 gold!

Agreed, and I think that's their way of guaranteeing that some of the time, you won't get a Dunmer MW plan. While it's better than the entire furnishing plan loot table, we have to spend vouchers on this, which means, yes, I'm dreading the times I'll pull one of the Daedric ones. I'm fine with getting a purple Dwarven one, but Daedric? Really? They should have left those out, since I'm sure they know how saturated the market is with those. I'm not sure how much they sell for on console, but I see the blue ones for around 100 gold. I think the purples maybe would go for 2,500 to 5,000K? Bleh...not a good tradeoff for 50 vouchers.

Well, it's not all bad since I should still hopefully get a fair number of purple Dunmer ones. And, I'm glad the price is 20/50. I was afraid they were going to be at least 25/100. But since they require a MW achievement, they're actually being fair to those who purchased MW. I think if they're weren't restricted, the price would be higher.

EDIT: Hopefully, if they don't weight the Daedric plans to drop more, they shouldn't show up that often, since there aren't as many of those as the others. Hopefully, we'll get some folks who are able to test and can give some initial drop-rate impressions.

EDIT 2: Just finished reading all the posts, and so far it looks like the drops (granted an extremely small sample size) are fairly distributed among the Dummer, Daedric, and Dwarven loot tables. I think this is a nice solution to the problem with the scarcity of these plans. I got so tired of endlessly looting Dreloth Tomb and only have 5 purples to show for it. I think having the documents tied to a MW achievement and being at a higher price is enough so that not everyone is going to get these. These aren't just being handed out.

Those who don't have MW or don't want to farm Master Writs can buy from other players. Yes, there will come a time when the 50 voucher price is going to hurt when some plans will have dropped below the break-even point (the Daedric plans already are well below that point), but it will be a while before we see Dunmer purple plans dropping below, say 50K gold. Heck, I still see Redguard plans at 50K plus on console.

Plus, looking over the screenshots posted, I see a few blue rug and tapestry plans. Yay!

I was hoping they’d do this. Still got some more to collect out of the first batch he released too.

Plan distribution between styles here . There are about 230 plans or few more. Not too many daedric plans. Also the statistics showed that with high probability all plans have same drop rate.

    @helediron Thanks for posting this!

BTW...I saw that you listed one plan's style as Tribunal and one other as Velothi. What are those plans?

Well, i got intrigued too. I just added a full list of plan names into that blog post. Those two are:
    Diagram: Velothi Brazier, Temple
    Praxis: Tribunal Tablet of Almalexia

I just chopped the raw data with a script and took mechanically the first word from the name of the plans as "type" and second word as "style" to group them.

    and previews:
    Brazier:

There is new feature to toggle the state of selected item in preview. There were three states: unlit, Magically lit (as shown) and naturally lit (as light from fire). I crafted the brazier and tested. And indeed, there are three states:

BTW, behind the brazier are the new golden plans from Rolis.

Aww, i hope they stay. I already got an idea to use the brazier as a reservation light. I'll move my primary house to Coldharbour immediately after the update. There are shelves around the big plateau, out of sight. I think of putting many test dummies down there where they don't interfere each other. So, if someone wants to go testing they can turn on red light to show that dummy is reserved. Of course it doesn't work, but i'll put them there anyway.

I was gonna post the same thing. Bummer as the brazier was a pretty unique part of the furnishing pack, having both natural and magical light settings. Also, wonder why only the Almalexia tablet is included as craftable and not the other one (Sotha Sil)? Well...I guess it's good it's not, so as to at least keep more of the uniqueness of the furnishing pack. But, really, I think everything in that pack was non-craftable or obtainable elsewhere, so having two of the items become available later isn't too bad.

Introducing an expensive limited edition furnishing pack - with several pieces otherwise not obtainable in the game - then adding recipes for the unobtainable pieces in the future making them commonly available, is a really turd move, ZOS.

It is really something I would consider a scam or a con. Would you sell exclusive mounts or pets, only to have them available for gold in game some months after?

The price on these limited edition furnishing packs are calculated on their exclusiveness. Of course you're willing to throw away more real life money on something not otherwise obtainable in the game, than you are at throwing it away on something that's craftable.

So introducing furnishing pieces first as limited time exclusive and not otherwise obtainable, only to make them common recipes later on, is really A-grade Bullcrap.

Don't do this again in the future.

    From today's PTS patch notes:

•The Morrowind Furnisher’s Documents available from Faustina Curio no longer contain plans that can be found outside of Morrowind, such as Daedric or Dwarven furnishing plans.

Woohoo! Now we won't have to worry about wasting 20 or 50 vouchers on cheapo Daedric plans! Only slightly disappointed that Dwarven isn't still included, since they really aren't that common, but only just slightly.
