Group finder bugged?

Today I queued in group finder and got a group, but 1 person declined the role. I was put back in group finder, almost immediately got another group, but again, someone declined the role and I was put back in queue. Now this is normal. Usually once you got a group, even if it failed to form and you are put back in queue, you are still at the top of the line and will get another group very soon. But this time, it wasn't. After being put back in queue for the 2nd time, I waited over 30m without getting another group. I was at the top of the line, if a group was formed, I should be picked first. Was there really no group was formed for the whole 30m? I quit the queue and re-queue again. By doing that, I should be at the end of the queue line now, and as a DD, I expected that line to be long. But surprisingly, I immediately got a group. Was there really no other DD queue before me for the whole 30m?

I suspect there is something wrong with group finder.

Noticed the same thing. If it fails a few times to create the group it seems that you wont get a group for a long time. You leave the queue, join again and usually you have a group within minutes.
If i am longer than 30 minutes in the queue it often also helps to leave the queue and join again, surprisingly you almost get a group immediatly. There is something fishy with the groupfinder...

Yep. Plus it's a random group finder, I hate when people bail cuz they want a specific dungeon.

There's a lot of something wrong with groupfinder. Honestly, I just really wish they'd remove the ready check, it was working just fine before that then it all went out of the window. It's much easier to kick the rare afk person and queue for replacement once inside the dungeon than it is to deal with half broken groupfinder.

And yes, I'm pretty sure it does not actually put you at the top of the queue after someone declines. Usually if it's been over 5 minutes I just drop it and re-queue. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't, can't hurt I think. My chances of getting a group immediately after re-queueing do seem a lot higher than after waiting for 30 minutes. Seems it's more the opposite, the more time you're in the queue the lower priority you become.

Yeah there's been something wrong for a while.
If I'm waiting longer than 10 minutes I'll just drop and requeue. I usually get a group soon after.

I do the same. No group after 10 min I drop and requeue. A lot of the times after I requeue I will get a group almost instantly.

Yep this is exactly my experience as well. This is because the game puts you into what I would like to call phantom queues which never will put you into an actual instance. This is proven because there is no reason why I could sit in a queue for 25 minutes as as solo dps for a specific dungeon and not get a single ready-check, but the second I drop queue and re-queue i get one instantly. How has this been happening for a year with no fix? This has definitely been occurring to me since homestead.
