Yeah happens to me too, I built a $3300 dollar computer and I feel like I’m in a slideshow half the time.
When I first log into game I have great ping, and about 100 FPS then a minute later my ping shoots up and I have 25 FPS.

there seems to be a broad range of experiences with lag.
For some like myself there is no lag whatsoever (only exception is when ball group zergs appear in Cyrodiil) and for others it's barely playable, even in pve.
This is interesting because it suggests that the issue isn't entirely server related otherwise everyone would have similar consistent lag issues.

This is both server and game optimization issue.
My PC specs are better than "recommended", but still I have to reduce graphics in trials.

I can under stand Cyrodill, that you can experience lag.
I can understand in PVE raid you can experience lag.
BUT wtf, Maelstrom Arena SOLO play, and to have so much lag?
The 8th boss, when NPCs casting fire spells, lags up the whole, dam game.
i6700k
32g ram
SSD
1080ti SLI
205mps, down load speed

I turned down all video settings, and lag is the same.....
What a joke......
