The current "voice preview" system needs to go.

Players c ould, and should be able to preview each aspect of a specific voicepack during creation. As it stands you hit it and mostly are spamming the laugh emote; which apparently is not a good way to sum up what a voice is going to sound like.

Otherwise my "Paladin" that recently hit 50 wouldn't sound like a fiendish imp.

I kinda agree with this.

I would love to have a better voice preview system, to relly let us get a feel for the differences in our character voice options... and maybe have some better choices, not just "voice A, voice B" but "gruff voice" and "young voice" and "wise voice" and "flirty voice" and "threatening voice" and... and... and... stuff we can choose with an eye towards our character idea, instead of sometimes having it difficult to even realize the differences...

The voices are too samey - I'd love a more 'purry' voice for a female khajiit, or a more hollow, eldritch-sounding one for my male Altmer vampire.

Even if it just cycled through all the different sounds one after another it would be an improvement over the current system where you might end up hearing the same one 5 times in a row and never hear others at all.

I recently changed race to argonian (yes that’s right) and discovered fem vocals are terrible and barely audible which is sad, I loved the dunmer females voices

It would help if they just gave names to the voices, or made them activate in a set order instead of repeating the same gargle 5 times in a row.

This. I'd like to hear the words "This is Voice A" followed by the various sounds in order. That way you'd know in advance if you're choosing a male voice with a girly scream, or a female voice with low-pitched grunts.

As it is, I have one character who drives me nuts every time he's riding, as I simply can't stand the "HRAH" noise he makes when whipping his horse. I've been considering a change character appearance token for at least six months just because I hate his voice, but I'm not convinced it's a good use of Crowns.

You all do realize that you can click on the speaker icon multiple times to hear what each of the sounds are in each voice set.

Yeah, not sure why there isn't a sound board with the various voice 'emotes' to click on as desired.

Also not sure why they don't have a 500 Crown Voice Change Token available, or some new voice packs to choose from.

You can pick 50 different styles for your eyebrows, but less than 10 voices in the entire game? Pretty sure they could recoup the cost of this very quickly.

yeah and you apparently did not read my post becuase I addressed that. Every character I make I spam it for a minute or more and for the most part it just plays the laugh emote over and over.

why not? plenty of other people posting about the voices. They really did a slacker of a job of implementing voice previews, and plenty of people surely agree with me.

At least our characters don't actually speak. It could be far worse...like in Dragon Age Inquisition. Your character speaks extensively throughout the LOOOOOONG game and you get like 3 voice choices. Choose poorly and you're stuck listening to yourself talk for hours.

Yes, I agree, let's limit discussion to only one problem at a time. We definitely can't talk about multiple things at once. I mean, why would we bother with forums where you can discuss a whole slew of things when we could just focus on one topic and never talk about anything else?
