I can't believe it's possible to show that much boob/thigh and still be so frumpy. The whole outfit sags oddly over the waist, and gives an weirdly broad, hard looking chest on my girl toons. It looks sad instead of sexy.

Considering that the other "omg! how dare they! revealing!" costumes haven't been priced higher than the standard (500 for basic, 700 for fancier, 1000 for fanciest), I doubt that "sexy" is the reason for this being $20. Seems like it's more in line with the "Hero" outfits that were priced higher as well, while not being revealing.


And I don't have a problem with some costumes being "overpriced" - they're luxuries/un-necessary, so it's better to have them overpriced than to have things with actual function (banker NPCs, characater slots, name changes, etc) be overpriced.

Doesn't mean I'd ever buy them. Just that I don't have a problem with a game company selling expensive costumes. As long as they also sell some lower-priced ones that are interesting. And ESO does that. /shrug

While the intention might not be to provide that, I think the pricing is definitely set according to that.

I actually like it. I would buy it, if the quality matched a 2000 Crown purchase. As it stands, I would feel like I was being scammed if I bought it.

Definitely within the scope of the lore, yeah (it was in skyrim, for one), but if it were just, or primarily, to show off skin, we'd see something much more suiting that, like a thong or microbikini. This is meant to be a lore lover's robe, for more for the "seductive daedric worshipping demigod" aesthetic, I think. Or at least it should be...
