A few things I wish would be possible in the game to ease the grind etc.

To change the alliance of a single character from say AD to EP etc.

If your account already has max mages guild, fighters guild and undaunted guild experience, you could purchase a token for crown that "updated" a characters experience to max in those guilds. (or just make it accountwide experience) One of the main issues I have with making or focusing playing an alt char is having to get all those guild ranks up (specially undaunted) and skyshards and etc etc.

To purchase master weapons for AP. These weapons have a big impact on pvp. Why they are only dropping in pve is beyond me :( Make them cost 5 million AP, I dont care...as long as we dont have to do endgame raids in pve for hours on end and still be at the mercy of RNG. Hell personally I only do pvp in this game and why weapons/items like this is behind a great big wall of impenetrable (pun intended) wall of pve grind....*sadface*

    1. Faction change is asked for on a monthly basis around here. Plenty of Pro/Cons about it, so you might try weighing in on one of the current threads. Here's the latest one: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/392810/please-add-faction-change-token-to-store

    2. Generally speaking, ZOS likes to extend the life of their game by having players grind. So for ZOS, you having to level Mages Guild, Fighter's Guild, Undaunted, and find skyshards is a feature, not a bug. Be glad that we have One Tamriel, where you can level Mages Guild by exploration as opposed to maxing it out somewhere into Cadwell's Silver or Gold.

    3. Again, locking good gear/skills/passives behind PVE to force PVPers to play ALL of the game and conversely locking fish/skyshards/delves/quests/dolmens/skills behind PVP to force PVEers to play ALL of the game is a feature of the game for ZOS, not a bug. Its a deliberate design choice to make sure that players can't get all the goodies in the game while sequestering themselves in their preferred gameplay mode. You are free to play 100% PVE, but you'll miss out on skyshards, achievements, and certain skills if you do so. You can do 100% PVP if you want, but you miss out on certain gear sets, passives, and skills if you do that. ZOS designed the best rewards to be unlocked by participating in both parts of the game.

I actually find this to be one of the least grindy mmos ive ever played. There is very little to grind in this game. It needs some grind.

In the meantime, I'll enjoy PVPing to get 2 of the best PVP abilities (Caltrops and Vigor). Sorry, I'm being a pedant here, but I'm constitutionally unable to not respond to people calling those PVE skills.

I'll let Warhorn slide. Its clearly designed for the sorts of large groups that are only possible in Cyrodiil but I don't think its used much anymore as the PVP meta has shifted away from group support and more towards AOE damaging ultimates.

But Caltrops and Vigor... Caltrops is an amazing PVP skill and the only place in game where its used for its intended purpose: dismounting or slowing enemies in mounted combat. Vigor is a much needed stamina heal in an environment where stamina players can fight without a healer, something that is only necessary in PVE in Maelstrom Arena.

Any noob can grind enough AP for those skills in short time, spam heals or even repair walls. You can literally just wait inside a sieged castle, do nothing and get AP. While the grind for vma and vdsa weapons is something completely different on a time + skill base in additon to the requirement to have a decent group for dsa.

So I call it a fair deal for PvP'ers.

Honestly you can get enough Skyshards from Overland without touching cyrodil.

Faction trees level up fast as it is.

Horses.. now there is something I hate. Each and every time you create a new character you have to level up horses from the very beginning. It has gotten to the point where I just level horses on my main and that is it. Horses should be retroactive across all characters. It's a collection item for talos' sake.

Each character is a different life so it makes sense...we must level them. Now on other hand wouldn't mind making this easier. Maybe so sort of grouping bonsus that makes them faster to collect?

I think I should be allowed to trade 5 purple ebon necklaces and 5 lich whatever that crap set is, for one leviathan necklace. I have the same situation for bone pirates and sunderflame, although not quite as extreme in those cases. kind of makes me just want to go back to single player games that don’t have this crap. No, you can’t have my stuff. I’m giving it all to guildies when the time comes.

Yep, absolutely. Can't tell how many complete sets of netch touch I had before I've got the Truth set together in whatever traits. Older threads about this issue mention a token system, like "run on normal, get 1 token, 2 for vet, 3 for hm" and trade 30 token for one specific item. But I guess we will never get that, especially after they lessened the grind through transmutation.

Getting them takes one day perhaps two with zerging.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Note that 3 is an good reason for faction change, you started eso for pve, had to go to cyrodil for skills and loved it, however you find that your main guild also do pvp but for another faction.
Have it cost 3-5K crowns and have an 1 month cool down.

Grinding just make you go in circles.

Riding Skills should update the mount, not the rider. Don’t ask me how to retroactively deal with players that have maxed out trees on one or more toons.

Our lore library should be account wide... makes sense; if I find a book while questing I will bring it back for my other toons. Perhaps just finish the mages guild and fighters guild quest lines to max out skill line. I mean, if I freaking save the two guilds from destruction, I’d say I’ve proved my level. Yes, that may get repetitive too, but not nearly the time investment of running all around grabbing books my first char should’ve put in his pack, or slicing/burning down zombies at the docks.

Make all gear BoE. Even trial/maelstrom/dsa gear. If you can farm those places solo or with solid groups, you shouldn’t have to decon decent drops you don’t need; sell it for GOLD! Those less skilled can then still get proper gear; gear doesn’t make you good, skill and practice do. Let lessers buy what they need to have fun and a fighting chance.

Give us access to our other toons inventories in our house. The logout/login grind is real. Perhaps each has a bunk chest that we can access at home.

Take out 33% of the sky shards and give us a skill for every two we find. Or take out 67% and give a skill for each one. Seriously.

    Or.... get rid of classes

Vigor is a much needed stamina heal in an environment where stamina players can fight without a healer, something that is only necessary in PVE in Maelstrom Arena.

They may not be exclusively PvE skills but they are as important in PvE as they are PvP. Absolutely every meta stam build relies on Caltrops, and Vigor is necessary in many places outside of Maelstrom: many Trials fights especially where a stam DPS has to separate from the group (kiting meteors on Rakkhat, back yard on Rakkhat, up top on Pinnacle Factotum, etc.) It's certainly not necessary on all Trials fights but it is absolutely required in some places. Additionally, any no-healer 4-man group (optimized DSA groups, dungeon farm groups) will need Vigor for their stam DPS.

And Caltrops is absolutely used for its "intended purpose" in PvE as well: damage and CC. The CC is one of the most useful features of Caltrops in Maelstrom, because it keeps adds off your back for a few seconds.
