Unable to launch ESO

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I was having the same issue. No luck, so I decided my only course of action was a fresh reinstall.

Now, I have no ESO on my PC and I can't even install the game.

After logging out the trying to log back in I have the same error. Repair won't run either. PC NA Server

Same here. Broken Launcher. Cant bypass because of Steam.

I mentioned in another thread that I used to have this problem as well. I would simply restart my computer and open the launcher back up. That worked for me every time. Might give it a try if you haven't done so already.

I own both ESO on the website and ESO on Steam, so I can use the Steam version to exe-bypass. It was a precaution I thought might come in handy...

Was kicked out of PC EU here so it's not server dependent in that regards. It's definitely the patch server, sadly I did try repairs and eventually deleted the game to try reinstall and the reinstall launcher just get's stuck at Loading now since the Bethesda.net patch server appears to be down. At least it's down for ESO. I have no problems playing ESO Legends now....Different Bethesda.net launcher involved there, speaking of which... why two different launchers Bethesda?

Right now you can still launch straight from eso64.exe, by default in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client.

Same issue here.

NOTE: I found a file called host.developer.4, it's a txt file in notepad. It describes what happened the last time I tried to launch the game through the launcher tonight at 7:44 PM. Don't know if this helps, but maybe it will:

I've tried everything I could find here, and via Google (and that was quite a bit of information), but nothing helped. The most often stated reply by ZOS was "add these folders to your exceptions in your virus program," well, that didn't work either.

BTW, I've been playing this for months, and now suddenly Norton is at fault for not letting the game files through? Sorry, don't buy it.
