I’d just like to throw out there the fact that you will still be able to kill me with this. I’m sure I’ll dodge twice and then lights out. I feel like there are a lot of players like me out there in cyrodil. I have no idea what battle ground are like or how real pvpers will respond.

Here is what is interesting... when they talked about Dive, they said the entire reason they made it undodgeable was because of the animation length... so in all fairness, making it now dodgeable means they should SHORTEN the animation length to compensate. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Wrobel

People need to keep in mind that Miat's is also being made redundant. What does this mean? It means with the next patch only a select few good players will have the awareness to dodge when needed to instead of the current 80% of the player base.

I'm a warden, yes I cheese dive. Am I worried? Not at all.

Maybe read the whole combat balance notes instead of cherry picking something you want to rage about? Dodge and blocking is being tweaked across the board to encourage strategic skills and usage.

That means things can change between the version you see right now on the PTS and what ends up on Live based on feedback from the community.

That's a funny joke. Remember that time where Zenimax gutted everyone's sustain horrendously and LITERALLY EVERYONE, including all of the game's top players, were saying NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! and Zenimax didn't budge even an inch? It's very clear Zenimax values our feedback only when it suits them.

Well if it makes you feel any better the president of Zenimax did tell everyone if they wanted to play offline that they could buy an Xbox 360.

Now if this included overall buffs to warden it might be balanced.
And how likely is that LOL

It's probably meant to played more defensive then offensive. Though one thing that could make a difference is allowing them to use ice staves and inferno or lighting without fear of taunting.

They made several other skills undodgeable as well, might want to read and see which of your favorite skills were also nerfed.
Now they need to put a cool down on dodge or fix shuffle with a cool down or the meta will just change to roll dodge builds everywhere.
History will repeat itself, dodge, dodge, dodge, miss, dodge.

why do you dislike medium armor playstyle?

The O.P.'s statement wasn't even close to being "rage." The tone was quite neutral, actually.

This better mean that warden is getting some much needed PvE buffs now.

The argument was always that they couldn't buff them because they're already OP in PvP. Well, they're not OP in PvP anymore.

A snap shot of how warden is currently doing in PvE (current top-100 leader boards for PC/NA):

    vMoL: 0 wardens
    vHoF: 0 wardens
    vAS: 3 wardens

    Yep...

Funny I am a medium armor wearing stamblade, I just don't believe you should be able to avoid everything by just using shuffle without there being a counter to shuffle. There are players out there who seem to have a shuffle up time greater than others who completely negate ranged attacks. So all I am suggesting is a fix or cool down on shuffle.

The reason I say history will repeat itself is some undodgeable skills were added a couple of years ago to combat the fact the every stamina build was a dodge roller with no counter.
I play a medium wearing stamblade most of the time by the way so no warden bias at all.

Mb u missed dodge fatique? That's the encounter they introduced for endless dodge builds, and non-dodgable spammable skill is just a major nonsense which helps with nothing. All changes they made make literal sense atm, it won't make dodge builds stronger than they already are, it just makes skills sensible.

BS, shuffle has been a broken skill for a long time and is not affected by dodge fatigue.
It has way too much of an uptime much more so that the tool tip says.
There are videos showing over 10 dodges and misses in a row, now there will be even less counter for that.
There should be no get out of "dodge" for free card for anyone.

Shuffle should require 5 pieces of medium armour to use so heavy armour players cant use it.

It does. The only work around that is a NB using Blur/Mirage/Double Take.

Already crying on iWin button getting changed?

That's the only DPS skill magicka warden has to offer that can be added to some sort of rotation, with it dodgeable the class will be the worst in game for PVP. Also like hundreds of people have said before, if you get killed by bird spam it's a l2p issue on your part and the spammer's. Mostly on yours.
Within minutes of the weekly pts patchnotes a QQ thread has been found.
    Whats new

It's a question, do you always cry when you're asking questions?

They changed the entire ruleset. It's not just birds that have become dodgeable. Also that skill isn't the only thing wardens have going for them in PvP. They ahave great burst and just need to keep their target rooted to pull it off. I don't feel bad at all that you have to add another skill to your bar to keep them in place.

They also said that they removed the CC from Blazing Spear to make use of the skill and Templar rotation less complicated, something about ceilings and floors, so just lol.

If they shorten the "animation" aka travel time on Birds, they in all fairness should shorten the initial cast time and travel time on Dark Flare. Just my opinion.

someone doesnt understand their role as a player and how feedback works. Players do not dictate the changes. they supply feedback. many times, the feedback is not even valid. see most of the whinges on the forums as examples. Just because they chose not to revert a change you didnt like, does not mean they didnt listen. Your feedback obviously did not fit into the plan or maybe without your feedback it would have been a bigger change?

    Triggered.

If literally everyone was saying that then there would be 8 million users on these forms. I doubt that.

Sustain was hit hard yes but we have adapted and moved on. People are still coming out with great builds and the content we are playing is challenging and rewarding. Sustain before was really good, too good even.

ZOS isn't going to go and just reverse all their changes because we all complain. 1%, 50% or even the entire community. They make changes to the numbers based on our feedback and if it doesn't work then more changes are required. The sustain changes we have now didn't break the game. Yes they need to fix some issues but it's not the end of the world.

Thanks for making my favourite class even weaker in PvP (I am not talking about Stam Wardens) Ok cool, make the Dive dogeable. But also put a freaking CAP on dodge chance!!! I am sick to the death of trying to kill players! DIVE IS THE ONLY SKILL mag warden has in his DPS rotation that doesn't end up in 'Dodge' or 'Missed' 100% of the time.

I'm sure all the wannabe NBs will be happy as hell. Now nothing will ever make contact with their characters - ever. 100% doge chance without pressing a single button. As if they aren't OP enough in PvP as it is!
