    To be honest, the question sounds quite dumb. Necromancers are basically mages, so there is no restrictions for them to use any schools of magic, that fit their purposes. Besides, Necromancy is a sub-school of Conjuration, and I guess a decent necromancer knows at least basics of the art of conjuration. I mean, if you want to protect your valuable studies from rogues, why not to summon daedra in the form of a sword?

    daedra are what in other lore would be demons....there is usually a clear distinction in fantasy between demons and undead....

    No one is saying there aren't multiple interpretations of the lore, and we're not arguing that ESO did it "wrong".

    We're arguing that they decided to go for the most boring, mundane, seen-before interpretation possible. Like they almost always do, unless they can ride on the coat-tails of past games.
