I completely understand your frustration with this offer ending right before you get paid. Unfortunately, this is a situation where it's difficult, if not impossible, to make everyone happy for the reasons many have stated in this discussion already.
Specifically, people have wildly different pay schedules depending on who their employer is and how that employer chooses to set their pay schedules.
Personally, I've worked jobs that pay weekly, bi-weekly, 1st/15th, once a month, and only upon contract completion and there's probably still a few variants I've never had to deal with. The point being, we'd love to make everyone happy all the time, but we accept that is not always possible and don't hold back offers because of it.

Dude. Put them 1st weekend of the month- problem solved for all markets.
How can you legit say all that you just said and not see a simple conclusion?

If you knew they will do it again why didn't you adapt and saved some money in pocket for next such situation. ZOS won't change for us, we have to adapt to their rules. This isn’t the first time they’ve put something cool out when I just didn’t have the money at the moment either. It’s frustrating because it’s just so arbitrary.

Seems that living without savings is frustrating. For people with savings pay day is irrelevant.

to be perfectly fair, the above statement isn't *entirely* true - there IS, at least, ONE way to make everyone happy...
STOP WITH THE LIMITED TIME SALE ***!!...

If the folks in the sales department insist on sticking with the limited time thing, it should last at least 30 days. Like you said, pay schedules vary widely from job to job. The only way to be sure that everyone can get paid within the promotion period is to ensure the promotion lasts long enough to cover all pay periods.
I had an unexpected expense come up this pay period, but the next will be fine. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who would love to make the purchase, but won’t be able to because of the short timeframe and, well, “life happens”.
30 days might be too long to create a sense of urgency. They might not get the impulse purchases they want/need.
Might want to try putting aside a few dollars so you have them on hand for these 3-day sales.

I had to pay the down payment on my kid’s braces. That wasn’t a monthly expenditure or even an expected expense.
I know how to manage my finances, thanks.
