Launch when levelling and learning. Having Veteran Ranks to aspire to.

These days sadly the levelling side just goes by and doesn't excite.

Levelling is a chore on some characters, particularly my tanks. But once they hit the cap I feel they are pretty much complete and fully usable.

I must say that getting a StamNB to endgame level was painful. Then on top of that every time I got close the meta would change, the skills were nerfed, the CP gains were changed, however, running content just the other night I feel strong. I had also read and heard that the difference between CP300 and 600 was immence. Clearly 300 more points is a lot but the the gains seemed meh, another 2% AOE damage doesn't sound like much or another 20 points in master at arms, so what, well it really is different, more than I really expected. I can now see how those 30-35K rotations are possible. I'm having fun in new ways now which is awesome, during Trials and HM DLC Dungeons I am putting in work and not just tagging along.

I enjoy it all but a character doesn't really come into focus for me until I see how she does after the 1-50 'combat leveling' stuff. Only beyond that can I really see how well she does. And it is a pleasure to have all the skills needed and gear that doesn't quickly go obsolete via leveling.

I enjoy playing my characters in the low range, because I still have a lot to learn and still a lot of progression to make. I'm afraid of hitting the cap as I feel like I may feel the game stagnate a bit. I'm at CP 210 or something there about so that's still a long while off.

I did enjoy leveling when I was new but boy did I do some stupid things in the name of bag space before ESO+. However leveling now is just barely tolerable.

Although I like my endgame characters and the activities they can participate in, I do enjoy the feeling of a really fresh character, especially levels 1-10. I like the old alliance starter islands and seeing the old quests, and watching the other lowbies running around awkwardly swinging their tutorial greatswords at alits, bandits and crocodiles.

It is interesting to see the difference between an experienced low level player and a total new player to the game.

I've never been a fan of "leveling" - grinding levels is boring.

I have always preferred "action rpgs" and hack n slash genre type games.

with that being said, I had enjoyed all my time playing my ESO character with leveling experience, PvE endgame, and dedicated PvP experiences blending together and delivering their own unique styles to my portfolio.

Nothing will ever beat that nostalgia when I leveled my first character in Auridon with Razum-Dar. Beautiful scenery, beautiful voices, beautiful music, and a lot of new "what ifs". So many areas to explore, so many quests to do, so many items I picked up. That was the best part of my ESO life.

More like I enjoyed the game the most at these levels, when I was still awed by the newness and combat was fun. I could zone hop to give myself a challenge against higher level enemies, and I found questing genuinely fun.

There's a point around level 40-50 that you've learned all the necessary skills that you have access to. Skill points pile up faster than you unlock new ones. That part really takes the fun out of leveling up for a while.

Aside from that, I've had fun leveling all of my characters. I raced to CP 160, but after that I just don't pay any attention to my champion points. Sometimes I go days between allocating my points. Even on my sorc that's been wearing the same gear for almost a year I can really tell the difference my last 100 CP have made.

I'm not sure how I'll feel if/when I ever hit the cap.

The first year I played, when I had 4 characters at Sub Vet Ranks was the best. I could see and feel the changes as I went from one level to the other, heck, from one part of the zone to another it was different. When I got to Vet Ranks, it seemed like most of the progression went away, and it was just get the character to V10, or V12, or V14 or V16. The differences between V1 and V16 did not seem all that much.

Now, I enjoy all my characters the same, as they are all really Max CP Ranked as soon as they are rolled, if you can gear them up right. But, I won't call it leveling anymore. Its Scaling

I blaze my characters trough levels as fast as possible in normal Maelstrom until they hit 50 then I rotate trough dolmens until I level every skill line, skill and preferred morph to IV, then do a whole skill point reset and only spec what I need. After that I can give them good gear and start questing, exploring and getting sky shards, books etc. I like questing fully leveled since all rewards and drops are already leveled.

I recently completed my 5th play-trough of all 3 Alliances, Coldharbour, Fighters and Mages guild, Cyrodiil, IC and Wrothgar and fully unlocked Assault and Support. Next I'll do the dungeons for Undaunted and skill points, concurrent with Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. I have another 2 characters who haven't completed Morrowind and Clockwork City yet so I'll probably do those concurrently on all 3.

I dont pay a lot of attention to levels. I dont feel like its really necessary to do so since everything levels with you. I just do whatever i want. Some days i make a lot of progress leveling, some days i spend all my time gathering, wandering, stealing, and killing innocent people. Some days i wont even make out the area i am in because i got in a conversation and by time its over, its time to call it a day.

But if i had to choose i would say the beginning. Its when i feel like its the most meaningful. By time you hit around level 30-40, it seems to lose its meaning.
