Random thought. Was reading people talking about bad ultimates in a PTS thread and thought how Meteor could be different.
Instead of casting it on a single target that follows them until it hits, and when it does players can just block the damage, what if it was changed to a ground target area cast with an increased blast radius? Good for choke points, bridge fights, burning groups of mobs.

ok but then I dont see much advantage of it compared with elemental rage (except that you could slot and eye of the storm).
I feel it is good to have one single target ultimate and one AOE0 -

Rainraven✭✭✭✭✭I'd like that. The game's weird targeting periodically decides I wanted that meteor to land on a bug in the corner instead of the boss I'm clearly trying to kill, but ground targeted abilities never give me those problems.
