Few highlights from the big ps4 EU dueling torny which was hosted last night, it showcases my current build of 5 necro 3 willpower & a monster set of your choice, I had to follow the torny rules so couldn't use any damaging monster sets 
These fights were against some very good players so it proves magicka nb can still be very competitive with basic gear.

Kode✭✭✭I don't think magicka NB is questionable as being viable, especially for dueling.
I think it takes more skill to play a magicka nightblade in most cases, the same can be said for stamina nightblade.
Many players can get gank kills with NB, but if they fail the gank they die or run because they don't understand how to survive on a NB.
Getting kills quick and easy from stealth is great when you need to, but sometimes it is nice just to pop out and let your opponent know you are there before you attack. If they die to a burst from stealth at that point, that is their fault.
