You think thats bad. 15 years ago EVERY PvPVideo out there had either Linkin Park, Disturbed or Evanescence as backgroundmusic. And not the good songs, the bad commercialized songs, like Crawling, or down with the sickness.Vermintide wrote: »... always have that god awful durty bassline or dubstep crap playing over the top, instead of the game audio? I mean I could tolerate it if it was tasteful music at least, but it seems like most of the good PVP players seem to listen exclusively to the absolute worst EDM has had to offer us in the last decade.

Get some taste guys. But on a more serious level, there are a lot of audio cues in this game that you miss out on when it's obscured by phat beats, and it would be good to hear them when you're trying to learn. Even better would be commentated footage, which seems to be the norm for every other game out there- While here we are watching kill compilations with crappy trance music like it's 2005.
So is there an actual reason behind this?

My first PvP vid. Ppl told me that I needed a music video.
Commenting on my video sounds like a drag.... I rather just answer questions.
in case it hasn't been said yet. the reason music is awful is becasue its the only music you can use royalty and attribution free. everyone uses virtually the same sets of songs, becasue that's what twitch/youtube etc let you use without you losing your audio completely to copyright claims.
