Have....have you never encountered a pregnant cat before? Or a dog? They do have more than two nips. It's a magical experience to see kittens being born but it makes cat-people a weird concept when you know they have way more glands than humans do.

Your point isn't invalid, but moot as this is Nirn, not Earth. In the Lore, Azura created the Khajiit by taking some Mer that lived in trees, "Bosmer", and changing them into Khajiit by merging the best traits of Mer and Beast to form a new "super" Race. In Canon Khajiit only have two mammary glands just like all the other Races. At least the Bipedal Humanoid Khajiit. The Quadruped Khajiit probably have the appropriate number. But, y'know, ZOS/Bethesda never bothered to put official nude textures into their games.

I know of a Body Texture Mod for Skyrim that lets you choose to have all eight nips on your Khajiit though. ;)

yeah, Khajiit aren't cats. They're a unique fantasy race. Similarly argonians are not reptiles-they are a unqiue fantasy race.

I like women with less clothing but please just keep the ESO like TES should be, reasonable armor that actually looks like it can protect the player.

So in a game that includes dragons, demons, spells, rituals, witches, zombies, portals, crystals, potions, enchantments, etc... you're losing your *** over how a skimpy dress couldn't possibly protect someone?
I think our great sorcerers, enchanters and illusionists can come up with a crappy little charm to make even the ugliest armor look like a skimpy little dress...
You just going to stand there like a lemon?

It doesn't bother me too much. In my head cannon ESO is in an alternate dimension from the rest of the Elder Scrolls games.

the fundamental problem with the cosmetic style of any MMO is your goal to acquire large #'s of people...

and it turns out that people have different opinions on what they want in a game, visually (and in every other factor, but we're talking about a visual issue here, so we'll stick with that for now"

1 - men who like sexy women (most men at various points in time)
2 - women who like sexy women and/or being a sexy woman (they do exist)
3 - women who object to the objectification of women (they also exist)
4 - men who object to the objectification of women (some actually exist, others are trying to get in the pants of group 3)
5 - practicalists/realists (regardless of gender, recognize that being sexy and fighting with steel weapons not necessarily compatible lifestyles, but fail to properly appreciate that THEY'RE PLAYING A VIDEO GAME WITH MAGIC AND ***!!)
6 - people who don't give 2 kittens about cosmetic issues and only care about game mechanics

and I'm sure you could add more categories than that...

I guess my point is - expecting harmony in any MMO over any subject is...ultimately unrealistic. There are too many people with too many agendas, BY DESIGN!! A successful MMO WANTS large #'s of people, and to encourage large #'s of people to play their game, they include a large # of factors, which nearly everyone will disagree about to one degree or another...

My personal feeling. I like sexy girls. I ALSO like games that have practical outfits for men and women alike. I don't particularly care about sexy men. *shrug*...ESO strikes a fairly decent balance between cosmetic variations for a large variety of situations and personal preferences while avoiding most of the extremes (like g-string bikini armor and shoulder pads that can block out the sun), and I'm okay with that. I feel like there SHOULD be moderately sexy options for the people that want that, while still providing modestly stylized gender-specific armors that are more or less practical (okay, maybe less practical, but still reasonably modest) for other folks

this is the balance that ESO has chosen to strike as far as game-based aesthetics while also trying to satisfy a large, varied, passionate, and not-at-all consistent or agreeable playerbase. I say ESO aesthetics have been as reasonable and respectful as you can expect from any MMO, and better than some. but, that's my opinion, for what it's worth.

100% yes, you get an awesome

Actually, that is not how the Outfit system works. We can already override the armor with costumes.

I'm glad I have learned the number of nips a canon khajiit has from this thread. Also I never needed to know that mod existed because I now feel compelled to check if you're joking or not.

yeah, Khajiit aren't cats. They're a unique fantasy race. Similarly argonians are not reptiles-they are a unqiue fantasy race.

Additionally, ESO is a game made by humans, for humans. In games (and other media) it's a handy artistic/stylistic thing to give "female" beings similar aspects to human females, (curved hips, breast, etc), so that the humans playing the game can at-a-glance recognize those beings as female. Even if it makes no sense scientifically for a non-mammal to have boobs.

("Boob plate" armor works similarly. If you stick every plate-armor-wearer in a "realistic" featureless tin can, it's harder to distinguish between characters. Ditto with "hide helmet". Sure, from a realistic/historical armor standpoint, it makes less sense, but the goal is visually distinct characters, not utter historical realism.)
