You know what's really annoying? When you are in guild chat with your guild, and you want to run some dailies, so you group up, and then it automatically throws you and your group into voice chat so if you don't want to be in group chat, you have to leave group chat and go back to guild chat (which takes 12 seconds, 6 to leave group chat, and 6 to rejoin guild chat). Can they create a system where you get thrown into group chat if you are not in a voice chat, but if you are already in one of the voice chats it can leave you alone or ask if you want to join group chat?

✭✭What’s even more annoying is watching random people repeatedly doing dumb things in PVP or dungeons and being unable to communicate with them at all (PC).1 -

I'm in my guild voice chat with like 13 people and we are all just playing the game and socializing and all talking to each other. However we want to run some dungeons (where you can only have 4 people at a time), but we want to remain in our guild chat and continue talking and socializing with everyone. We've ran the dungeons a bunch and don't need to be in group chat. However, every time we group up, those of us who are in the group get pulled from the guild chat (where everyone is) and placed in group chat (where the 4 of us doing the dungeon are). So now we have to leave group chat (which has a 6 second cool down before you can leave once you join it), and then you have to re enter guild chat (which has a 6 second cool down before you can join it after you leave another chat). We all hate this whole thing of getting pulled out, and would rather the game ask us if we want to join a group chat or stay in the one we were already in, or just not automatically take us and put us in a group chat if we are already participating in a guild chat.3 -

✭✭Agree. And on ps4 there is the added joy that this can go wrong & throw you out of all chat so you have to log out completely to reset.

Haha, agree. So annoying. What's even more annoying, with the chat issues on xbox, you are forced into group chat, and when you attempt to go back to guild chat 1, the channel disappears.

This must be a console issue. Us PC users have our own stand-alone voice chat servers we use. (Discord, TeamSpeak, Ventrillo, etc.)2 -
