To my knowledge no one runs this now.

Warrior / Mage out damage it on crits etc since the nerf

ZOS must have the data on who uses it. Why not give it a small buff or back where it was?

Well the meta is shifting away from critbased dmg since HOTR when they adjusted the mundusstones.

However imo shadow and thief were nerfed too harsh back then, nd for pvp they arent a good opzion either (in 90% of the cases)

But in pve its the same now...apprentice or warrior, others are a dps loss :/

That's it, if it had a small increase to at least level it on a PvE parse etc it would throw them in as an option. right now pretty much no one uses them.

The harsh nerf was when the crit sets were originally going to be crazy high, they fixed that in final release but didn't adjust Shadow back

Technically the Lover is the best if your group isn't fully debuffing the target without it.

I leave all my characters with the Lover unless I know there is going to be good penetration up time in the raid.

I think they should buff the Thief and Shadow a bit or buff the Precise weapon trait, but maybe after we get past 800 CP they will scale high enough to beat the Warrior and Apprentice again?

Some stuff is just messed up in this game. If they had to make these guys irrelevant so 3 other stones would be used, I’m alright with it.

If you’re on console, we have no idea how much extra Crit damage we’re doing, or even what our penetration is. Without busting out a calculator anyways. Give me headache.

That weapon and spell penetration are not published on the character sheet along with weapon and spell damage is absolutely mind-blowing to me.

Well on pc there's an addon that does that. But consoles would need that aswell :/

Yeah I'm on console unfortunately. It's such an important stat it should be on the character sheet.

Really on PC that add on isn't doing much anyway. For stam at least it's all about stacking group debuffs, and those don't show on that, neither do the pen proc sets, like are you wearing NMG or TFS? If people are serious about maximizing things, they really should have a sheet setup with the various pen debuffs, so they can quickly calculate base on the group composition and shift their CP accordingly. It's all done with calculations either way.

Shadow should be 11.3%. With the way the integer math works, this leads to 11% with no divines, 14% with 4 divines and 17% with 7 divines. The only jump in divines that would have no effect is 1 to 2 divines (both result in 12% crit dmg). With the current 9% base, the jumps from 0-1, 3-4, and 6-7 divines all do nothing.

I would've said an even 11%, but then 5 and 6 divines would be the same 15% crit dmg, with 11.3% base on Shadow these divines pieces correlate to 15% and 16%.

9% base is underpowered for everyone (even high-crit pet sorc does better with Apprentice). The old 13% would be too high compared to other Mundus stones, going back to that would result in everyone using Shadow.

ZOS must have the data on who uses it. Why not give it a small buff or back where it was?

You definitely don't want ZOS to use their data on how many people use this. How good something is has little effect on how many noobs, scrubs and casuals will use something because it "feels" right without doing any math or research.
