Hi all. Hopefully a quick question

Nowadays, what is considered to be good DPS for a stam sorc in optimal gear, solo, on a target skeleton?

I am looking to complete vet hm dungeon challenges, and then go on into vet trials. I want to have a good number to shoot for. Any help appreciated.

What are you hitting now on the dummy?

Lets say you're at 15 - 20k... you can do any and all vet dungeons + normal trials with that number. Not the quickest but its plenty.
25k... you have enough here to hammer through the craglorn vet trials + HM vet dungeons.
30k... Vet maw + vet halls (usually groups ask for higher though...)
    35k+ all hardmode content.

Basically though, 30-35k is well above average and closing in on top tier. If you can break 30k with a stam sorc while someone is giving you the major fracture buff, you can most likely do any content. Except maybe HM mol/hof.

Obviously these are my opinions... others usually ask for more in terms of dps output to join their group. But i get by just fine. I think i hit around 35k-37k with my stam sorc as long as major fracture is given on the dummy. I have no issues in trials.
But the more important thing for trials/HM dungeons is knowing the mechanics/staying alive. Can't dps if you're dead.

    Depends on ping.

If you are someone who plays with 50 ping, you will be able to get a more perfect rotation than someone who plays with 350 ping. People will want someone who can hit 35K+ generally, but that can be impossible for some people. I can get 29K without fracture and 350 Ping tops.

On 6 mil dummy parse, with fracture, 25k is the minimum you need for crag vet trial, other wise you are just getting carried. The threshold for good should be 35k. Surviving is, on ther hand, hard to measure, and it is very important.

With 20k dps you'll be able to get through all vet dungeons and nearly all vet HM dungeons depending on the quality of the rest of your group. 25k dps is the entry point for vet trials, bare minimum though. But once you hit 25k you're already better than most ESO players and it's usually just tweaking things to get up past 30k.

I'd say 25k is a good milestone to shoot for if you're under it. Under 25k usually means there's some big changes you can make beyond merely tightening your rotation.
