Semi-off topic regarding HP-regen and Defile. Werewolf skill claw of anguish doesn´t affect HP-regen. Been bugged since a long time.

There's another Monster helm that's currently bugged - Pirate Skeleton, you can still purge the defile portion of it so you get pure major protection without any downside.

Which is weird because it use to not

And even weirder, to purge that defile it costs either 4500-6000 mag for non-templars using efficient purge and 3500 mag for breton magplars in LA. Not to mention that minor defile is added to other easily added debuffs so it's not guarantee that you'll catch the minor defile to use effective.

Also requires you to be hit at health. SO you can't really use it reliably on shields for high uptime.

To say it doesn't have a downside is wrong and misleading.

Currently on live the Troll King monster set isn't being affected by healing debuffs, it has been tested and proven by multiple people. I would really be grateful if this could get fixed during pts so I could resume experimenting with the meta.

Troll king does NOT heal, it grants health regeneration, and therefor would not be affected by defile.
    It is working as intended.

    Except hes not:

"Major/Minor Defile: This debuff now also decreases the enemy’s Health Recovery in addition to decreasing their healing received."

The argument for leaving the bug makes troll King an even bigger necessity. It becomes the Earthgore for solo/small scale stamina builds. What really needs to happen is maim and even defile are a bit too strong. Should be cut in half.

    It's not a bug. It's a feature.

Troll King isnt going to save you from burst. Cant tell how many times Ive seen troll king proc only to have the guy get bursted down instantly.

This might be unpopular opinion, but I'm all for troll king not being effected by defile. At least from a medium armor standpoint, I do agree that stacking troll king in heavy armor is too much. But I think you could adjust or replace the HP regen in heavy armor to solve that problem.

The only builds that would realistically benefit from troll king being effected by defile, are the already powerful duroks/etc magicka setups that are already devastating to medium armor builds, or the stam tank/damage setups using reverb for constant defile.

They should just make medium armor builds have Troll King-esque survivability by default, without forcing everyone to wear that set.

I really, really hate how virtually every stam build these days is running it (and if they don't, they don't live past the first CC) - that's not good for the game at all.

There are those who are good stam players that understand troll carry is strong, but detest its existence and carry on fine without it. But we are also forced to wear bloodspawn anyways cause we need tankyness

But Bloodspawn is a much better set in literally every way, it gives you sustain (1 piece bonus), damage (ultimate regen) and surivivability (the proc itself). Deffo my favorite monster set in the game when it comes to PvP.

You can see my health recovery just below my stam bar, i am using omni stats to display it.

Without major defile and without troll king: 309 health recovery

With major defile and without troll king: 217 health recovery

Without major defile and with troll king: 1857 health recovery

With major defile and with troll king: 1765 health recovery

@ZOS_GinaBruno is it a bug that troll king is not being reduced by major defile?

TLDR: troll king is not being reduced by major defile

Troll King can be a life-saver many times (at least it´s been for me). It´s not good on it´s own and if it´s your only source of healing you´ll be instantly bursted down, that´s correct. TK become really good when you stack it on top of other heals like vigor, rally, lingering HP pots etc...

BUt it should definitely be fixed so the HP-regen part of TK is affected by Major/minor defile. While we´re at it with monster helmets, can we´ve a fix for Pirate Skeleton so that the minor defile part of the proc is unpurgable???

So if I did my math right, with troll king proc'd and major defile my HP recovery should of been 1266. Someone correct me if I suck at maths.
