I have this addon installed, total is ~137 days, figured out when it was 134 days that with the amount of money I have put toward the game, it is around 10 cents an hour for game time. Also I average 3 hours a day, about 13% of my life since I started playing in February 2015.
The cost per hour is OK, but I recommend staying away from the Percentage Of Life Spent on ESO stats.
I am totally fine with 13% if I was to calculate how much I work, it would be more. Like 20% of my life is spent to pay for the other 80%
Thinking about this, I wonder how the game population breaks out in the <5%, 5-10%, 10-15%, 15-20%, >20% brackets.

You are the one that brought exact numbers in. You said seven. 168/40 (my job is actually 9 hours but we have to take an unpaid hour lunch) is close enough to 20% that it is *like* it.

For those that are saying it, it's only time wasted where you could have been doing something else if you don't value the time and experience you put into it.
I think we undervalue the positive aspects - the social interactions, the mental workout, the generic getting-better-at-something with our time. Your /played hours has nothing to do with what you've gotten out of those hours
