Where do you get the hide helmet “collectible”?

Pressed the hide helmet but it is not working, tried to hide the helmet in the outfit station, i can see my character without helmet but i cant press the apply changes button because it is grayed out, when i press R i recive you can apply locked collectible to an outfit, why doese the hide helmet locked? please fix it.

They should just put the option switch back in. Seriously. For what we get, and will lose, by tying it to an outfit, they are wasting their development budget trying to fix it.

I am curious how this hide helmet option will work in relation to the Midyear mayhem crown and items like that. Can we use collectable head cosmetic items in combination with these new player made costumes?

Maybe you have to pay 1000 gold every time you equip it now since that seems to be all the rage these days.

Or you can buy "hide helmet tokens" with crowns.

I had the same experience just now. I can see the hide helmet option, and click on it for preview, but cannot apply it to save it.

I agree, there was no need to remove this from gameplay options. Now we have to go to an outfit station to turn off hide helmet just to see what it looks like. For what reason?

The Hide Your Helm option appears under collections as well as at an outfit station, so you should still be able to hide headwear from any given location, but there's still no clue as to unlocking the collectible at present.

While it is now supposed to also be a hat collectible, I fear like this we will still loose some of the old functionality. Because a costume hat ONLY hides normal armour, costume and outfit head gear. But it is overwritten by disguises and polymorphs.

And I definatly wouldn't want to be forced to always use these with head gear, especially the disguises. I have kept a lot of them, which you get during quests and like to use them now and again. But not if they have helmets or similar things on them that can't be hidden.

Of course it's hard to say for sure at the moment, since we can't actually test it. If the hide helm hat is implemented in a way that it is not hidden by anything, then everything would be possible as it is now on ive. Otherwise they should just leave the option in settings.

The thing that puzzles me is why was it changed at all. The 'hide helm' from the options menu had no issues.
I suspect it will be monitized in some way by incorporating it into outfits

It's not an intentional change. It will be fixed in the next PTS patch. It's listed in the "known issues" section:

"The “Hide Helmet” hat and Outfit style is not currently functioning properly, and will be fixed in the next PTS patch."

Yes. They can monetize Hide Chest, and other areas, as a Crown cosmetic.
