But I like the look of the werewolf! It's fluffy... and actually has a tail.
What I want cosmetically is either a werewolf polymorph or new cosmetic colors
    Hoping for more playable races

don't be a ding d0ng (lol apparently d0ng spelled normally is profanity LOL)

there is precedent set both within ESO, Oblivion, and probably other TES games, as well as within the lore, for vampires looking completely human in many cases

(the ones that I thought of off the top of my head were Verandis Ravenwatch when you first meet him, the count of Skingrahd, I think the guy you get the boots of springheel jack of in oblivion is also a human looking vampire, and iirc Sybille Stentor in skyrim is also completely human looking until I think dawnguard made her eyes glow, that freaked everyone out because nobody knew about it until dawnguard made it obvious )

when your a werewolf you literally change / shapeshift / skinchange, into another creature.

the only argument that would be close is if we had vampire lords and people wanted to hide that transformation, but you cant, its a transformation not pale skin you can hide with some makeup.

Even if you could hide the appearance of werewolf I think everyone's going to know what's going on when you start howling and jumping all over the place.

Actually, as an "owner" of a small werewolf pack (3 characters), I would like to have some werewolf features while I'm not in the ww form - maybe bushy eyebrows, hairy ears, small sideburns etc... But also a 10% bonus to the stamina and 5% vulnerability to poison. I think it would make the werewolves much more interesting, and more fair in comparison to vamps.

I want THE PASSIVES while my Nord is NOT in his wolfish form... :( Or at least some of them. This is completely UNFAIR in comparison to what Vampires have and enjoy (I've got vampire characters too).

As for hiding the transformation. I think turning into the beast is the coolest thing here. Of course not that helpful when you're in Cyro.. maybe that's why werewolves hunt in packs. :P

    - Breton SorcMag dps [She's got an identity crisis, but I believe in her.]
    - Dunmer Templar dps/healer [she's a healer, then again she likes inferno staff too...]
    And..
    - High Elf SorcMag dps [It's quite possible his daddy was a Nord.]

I actually use to be able to glitch out the werewolf transformation awhile back and could use werewolf abilities while still in my character form by summoning a familiar and desummoning him right before you transformed all the way the werewolf abilities just look silly without the actual transformation lol here's a video I made a few years back doing it

Pure jealousy and completely ridiculous. Vamps can hide their appearance easily by wearing disguises or costumes, so what's next, vamps shouldn't be allowed to wear items they've paid for? Yes, that will sit well.

Funny thing is I love my pale skin and have zero issue with others knowing I'm a vamp, what I don't love is the inability to clearly see my tats that I paid real money for. At least now there will be at least one option to have tats show properly.

How about next being "Vampires have to spend 22 skill points into their tree for it to unlock"?

that makes no sense, vampires can hide their vampirism lorewise because illusion magic, werewolves cannot cast illusion magic in beast form

dawnguard side quests, when you have to hunt a vampire masqurating as a citizen. The vamps have obvious physical differences even while trying to blend in (red orange eyes) if there is going to be any sort of skin change, then there has to be something like that that has to stay with vamps

Werewolves hiding their appearance in werewolf form doesn't make any sense. How would you use your teeth and claws? Hircine would not approve. Molag Bal is the Prince of Lies, so he would encourage vampires to hide their appearance to deceive others.

I simply do not understand the people who speak against vampires being able to hide the ugly appearance.

How does this even affect you? That you won't be able to tell someone is a vampire? Well, you already can't!

I mean, is this a vampire or not?

The only reason i can think of is spite, and if that's the case, shame on you.

It affects me because youre essentially gaining a passive bonus without any consequence. Which was the original agreement in the hand off of becoming vampire. You have numerous ways to "hide your vampirism".

If you and others cant live with the consequences of the bonus. Then we are all entitled to that bonus and ZOS should just remove Vampires all together.

I fail to understand the logic of all the vampire haters

In lore point of view, it all makes sense to hide vampirism stage

With outfit you can now, hide an heavy armor under a light armor style. Heck this makes even less sense

we are supposed to have fun and if it makes people happy, why not let people hide vampirism stage ?

No harm for the lore, no harm for the players, so why not ?

Stage 1 is pretty close to being a non-vampire appearance wise. Theres your illusion magic. What these players want is Stage 4 Vampirism and the ability to hide it.

Pretty close? Black khajiits and argonians turn white, redguards become grey/pink, all makeup and tattoos become almost invisible.
    Thats not "pretty close".

Whether the vampiric appearance is an advantage or a disadvantage is 100% a matter of personal preference. And therefore it can't be used as tool to counterbalance the benefits of being a vampire. That's what the increased fire dmg and reduced health regen are for.

So far I haven't seen any reasonable argument against more options to hide vampirism. Only "i don't need it, so others shouldn't get anything nice either" kind of arguments ...

    .

No it does not affect you that's the point. See the picture you quoted? How could the skin beneath the armor being a visible vampire or not possibly affect you when you have no idea what it is in the firstplace?

You demanding that other players suffer with zero gameplay consequences to you is pure malice on your part. Be ashamed.

Both parties are being ridiculous. They knew when they set out to become infected, again they went out of their way to be infected, that they would have the consequences of being changed physically in exchange for the stat bonus. Now they think they are entitled to that stat bonus without the physical consequence of the bonus. And think ZOS should accommodate their absurd opinion.

Dont want to look like a vampire? Dont be a vampire.

Dont want to look like a werewolf? Dont be a werewolf.

    Really that simple.

Agreed. If you want something you need to take the good and bad with it as with everything else in the world. If you need to be 4 legged and hairy, or look like an emo leech to get it, that's the trade off. Also, the uninfected all need to know what you are and where. We have to protect our loved ones :)

It is fine in my book. Certainly OK for Verandis and easier than hiding a heavy armor under a rag. Make it so they have to spend skill points or something.

For werewolves, where is the cool, if they look like human when turned ?

Why not just get rid of werewolf and vampire and give everyone the bonuses?

Yup thats what I want. Get rid of it all. I want my bonuses now ZOS!?!

    No.
