How ever you play ESO, you want to enjoy yourself and progress. I’ve recently reached end game and began looking for a communit with my interests. None the less, I’ve practiced my rotation and obtained the gear needed. Now it’s time to get experience and learn the trials. I’ve done everything I’m supposed to do and yet I run into some hateful people who say very nasty and negative things. Now, I’m not perfect. I’ve been the person who questioned people in dungeons and trials who have no interest in end game. Unfortunately I had to leave them to their own way of enjoying the game. So, I went on my way to search for people in the end game.
A few months into trials, I’ve become very knowledgeable and chose to create a YouTube account https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHppgAsLASp6-d3_Gfr-9ug . My goal was to show my progression, the things I do and to build a positive vibe. I’ve been a toxic player with *** talk. But, I’ve been trying to change. It’s a process. But I’ve ran into people who think I should remove my YouTube and not post anything because of their opinion.
As stated above, I’ve worked hard and pay for my own things and I’m doing something that makes me happy. Should I feel discouraged by this person? He has no VMA completions on his own. He yells at people about dying when they’re new to trials and needs to learn mechanics. Not to mention he does a lot. He blames his team versus himself for the failure as a raid leader. Now I’m not perfect, but I know when I see the issue. If you have trouble, you work on it daily.
My question to everyone is should you feel discouraged? What’s your story?

The biggest problem is that some players wont take criticism. I ran a NAS run this last week and the person who was putting it together said they were a tank but died every time a boss did a big hit and started to blame me, the healer. I have never, in my life, seen a tank go down like they did. I even tanked NAS and didn't need very many heals on myself, especially on the last boss. A DPS could have put a taunt on their bar and been the same as the "tank". When I approached them about their build, they refused and started to call me a ***, a *** and ***. I never said one rude thing except their tank was bad and they needed build help and I would help them. As soon as I saw this same person in area chat the next day in Craglorn, I just warned the other players in chat not to run a trial with this "tank" and explained the situation yesterday. I have ran so many Vet and Norm trials/dungeons as a Tank, DPS and Healer and that was the worst I have ever experienced, even our long 2 month VMOL progression group wasn't as bad or dramatic as that.
TLDR: Everyone is different and some personalities clash. It will happen in real life and game. You move on and keep going.

These are random players half a world away, and you care what they think about you based on some youtube video? Why?
Yeah, even the most talented, helpful, amazing person will always have people try to crap on them for stepping forward and taking a risk by creating or sharing something. This goes for writers, actors, game streamers, whoever.Vaughndaunted wrote: »Thanks for all the replies. This is helpful. Hopefully with me putting myself in the public eye in ESO, people will respect what I’m doing. I will surely begin blocking out or ignoring the negativity.

Your O P.....you've outlined your concern of people and the game in what you feel is endgame. My comment is based specifically on you OP and how you're describing your gameplay style and work ethic.

This is my first MMO. When you say OP is that opinion or over powered?
