I would say redguard or Impereial, possibly orc. If you wanna go pure DPS then khajiit would be best (PvE wise), Reguard for better sustain if you find that lacking. Personally Ive played Imperial for 3 years and find it fits well.

Argonian for tankiness, Redguard for pure damage and sustain, Imperial or Orc if you want a mix of damage and tankiness.

Orc hp regen is a nice combo with troll king and heavy armor. That and the movement bonus makes orc really strong. If you can sustain orc is the best. If not, redguard.

If you play in non cp you should have around 20k HP. In cp it will be a bit higher if you use atleast one piece of Heavy.

I would say anything below 25k is risky in CP campaign. Especially for medium armor, extra hp is much more important, which is exactly where medium builds are lacking.

Being an orc/imperial with 1 or 2 piece heavy, and a few tri-stat glyphs greatly helps against that.

If you are going for DPS the idea is to be DPSy, not tanky. Stam typically have lower health in PvE since they typically wear medium which means they get less benefit from Undaunted passives and do not get Juggernaut passives to increase their health.

If health is an issue just use a health glyph or two to get your health where you need it or change your attributes. Imperial would not be the answer since the health passive for that race is % based and you would lose out on sustain. In the long run, once you get comfortable and can deal with the normal health level, you can change those glyphs or attributes back to all stam. Easier than changing race.

using a health glyph is actually a horrible horrible idea, tri-stat glyphs do exist and offer much more value for a balanced build.
