Would you like the morrowind sustain changes to be reverted?

It's been quite some time since iv'e played, mostly because of the sustain changes after morrowind, did not like them one bit, so i ask the question, would you like to see at least some of the changes to be reverted or not.

Just to make it clear, this is not about whether you adapted or not, it's about, do you like it? Or do you dislike it, i could't care less about adapting, this is about the quality of gameplay.

It's not about adapting, it's about whether you like it or not.

I made it pretty clear that i don;t like the heavy attack that you are forced to put into a rotation, i much prefered the homestead/one tamriel way of playing, where you could go full damage light attack, but still sustain thanks to synergies between classes.

Well that's too bad for you then isn't it? If I only got to do things I like in life, It'd be a dream.

Morrowind forced every Stam DPS to spam Heavy Attacks as their rotation..... not fun. Magicka also has to constantly spam Heavy Attacks. Magicka NB is the only class that can get away with a true light attack rotation.

Heavy Attacks used to be a cool mechanic you could use to deal some nice damage and get back resources. Morrowind made them the backbone of your rotation and in many cases your forced spammable.

It really depends on preference. I like the old high sustain gameplay far more. Also it was more in-tune with the balance of the game...... nowadays you can circumvent your Recovery stat because Heavy Attacks provide significantly more resources than they used to.

They made those changes for a reason, and I adapted.

Yes, it was fun, burning fireworks of skills before.
It is still fun, now I only have to mix in heavy attacks every so often.

Much of the game is already dead easy, so having to think a little more rather then faceroll your way through every single fight is a good thing IMO.

    I'm good with it.

Absolutely, but the 1%ers will be even more powerful PvE destroying machines and zos seemingly doesn't want that as they've clearly balanced it around them and not the majority.

What a lot of the other other commentors said.

I'd like the class base sustian nerfs to be reverted but the cp and armor bases ones to remain.

I feel like the morrowind changes just pidgeonholed all the classes back into boxes. Because now you can't do sub optimal things when the sustain is so limiting that only the most efficient survive.

All conjecture. You think it sucks, but apparently a lot do not. I'm a bit confused as to why you play a game that sucks. Move on, and take your negativity with you.

As Templar main, only thing I dislike is that they removed party stamina restore from Repentance, but only if there is other Templar in party who keeps activating it faster than me (if it would at least give me some stamina too when I activate it myself, but nope) :'( Well there are some issue but overall I like the changes and I would actually like if they focus on resource management a bit more. Concept of skills without cooldown is interesting, but there was really no downside to it before, so it's good something was done about it.

You dont have to be confused becasue since last 10 months I barely login to the game. (less than 10 times, not for long).
I am technically not playing the game.

What I can tell for sure, that u have not even half of the knowledge about the game I have.

I can literally bet big money that all those voting NO are filthy casuals, who never done a vTrial and all they do in PVP is zerging. Maybe they find that 10v1 is easier now, I dont know.

You will tell me, I wont belive that competent player would ever say that he likes the current sustain. Heavy attack struggle is a joke, are u aware how many trial focused guilds have gave up? Do u think that managing resources for solo player is easier now? Did u consider that he might have sacraficed something for that? No, becasue u are on the casual side of community.

How dense do u have to be to think that current sustain is better? I stated, but I will repeat: Community ruins the game.

it suck and community also as we see how just community suck as @Getern mentioned, also as someone else mentioned many many didnt adapted to morrowind, many are forced to those changes and have no way to do it in other way because of sucking communty which instead of wrote to devs or make more threads about this system isnt fun they just adapted without even saying to ZOS this isnt fun because these player have no balls and dignity to say it and now most of voting "no" here are those players

Not fully reverted, but modified. Sustain was too easy before, and is much too cumbersome for stamina now. Stop forcing stam to make HA builds.

This. No cooldowns has resulted in a delicate balance based on things like adjusting block costs, tweaking poisons, and penalizing certain ability usage by frequency. There has been a lot of effort to control infinite sustain, it wouldn't make sense to wreck it all.
Something being unbalanced in 1v1 does not imply that it is balanced in group play.

Again, i'm not talking about adapting, it's whether you like the rotation or not.

Honestly these kinds of post are pretty stupid, and completely miss the point.

Why should i adapt if the game is not fun anymore? At least for me, i just left and i'm not exactly a casual, when i left i was able to do 60 k dps in trials.

It's about whether it's fun or not, for me heavy attacking in a rotation to restore resources, is not fun.

The question, while may be entertaining to see what this small population thinks, is mostly moot. It has been well over half a year and Zos seems pleased with the results. If OP wants to stop playing due to these changes that is certainly his/her choice, but Zos seems content to leave these changes and this poll will not change their mind.

My answer is purely selfish. I understand why it happened. In a way, it needed to happen. But I could get away playing my favorite race (Khajiit) as a class its passives didn’t align with (magic). But for now, my mageblade altmer has an identity crisis and wears a Khajiit mask at all times. Just no tail. :(

OP may not care to change ZOS’s mind but rather wanted to see what the community thinks.
