Concern About Interrupt CD and Res'ing

Will interrupting a player in Cyrodiil attempting to resurrect someone grant them interrupt immunity, thus allowing them free reign to resurrect the person they were just attempting to get up? If so, this could have some very negative balance implications for pvp and Cyrodiil.

I'm pretty sure they have or will add the resurrect to the exception list
Edit: I was an moron and typed the wrong word

I definitely hope so! Anyone able to confirm this though?

Losing team ressing dead players inded breaks the balance, right ;)

Instead of just bashing the player, should you not try to kill?

Could also be winning team that keeps ressing their fallen allies to ensure dominance, one person killed, instantly back up. I hope and think its gonna be part of the exceptions of things that are always interruptible.

Might be good, yes. I hope this only effects PVP, not PVE though?

Theres a lot of ignorance in this post if your serious. Of course the act of res'ing a dead player does not break the balance, but the freedom to resurrect a dead player without having to worry about counter play does. People don't die instantly, and it doesn't take that long to resurrect someone...especially if your a Templar running Kagrenac's in a friendly keep, which is honestly already a ridiculous combination. The ability to resurrect at will without having to worry about being interrupted will have terrible implications on balance.

Sounds like its a reasonable idea to have resurrect on exeption list then. I dont much PVP, mainly adventure in Cyro and only fight if necessary so i dont really know that much of the big batles. I have participated sometimes though but my visual impairment makes it hard to see anything in big fast moving masses so i just stay away.

However, i would really like to know if this interrupt CD is also in effect when battling NPC enemies or is this a player vs player thing only?

    This is a valid concern.

    Interupts shouldn't grant immunity.

I can understand granting immunity with stuns, snares and knockdowns, but any interupt aspect should remain repeatable.

Too lazy to quote Gina but she said resurrecting is in the exceptions list. Didnt say anything about a possible dark deal spam though so you should be concerned more about that

That's good to know, although truthfully I'm concerned about this new mechanic altogether and don't see the logic behind it. Basically some fool gets to spam their cast skills, while someone who uses actual skill to counter play that spam by interrupting them has to suffer now with a CD?

I'm excited for pretty mush everything else with this patch except for this glaring exception...this new mechanic is going to be really dumb, I can already tell.
