Perhaps they're moving the newbies away from these skills because they're on the nerf radar :o

Hmm... This may sound like a blasphemy, but has anyone check it on a real noob? I mean, maybe for new players the bigger radius would yield better results than longer duration (additional time on a piece of ground behind a boss doesn't really mean anything). Remember, this feature is directed at people completely new to the game. If any of you will keep it enabled, it will be for lulz.

On the other hand, the truth is, neither of the morphs will help if people will not be trained to use proper rotation. I mean, you can use liquid lightning once every 20 seconds, hardcast a frag here and there, then spam some mage's wrath at 90% hp and continue with light attacks because you're out of magicka (new people rarely even know heavy attacks restore resources!).

Oh wait, they hate werewolves, they likely didn't even give them skill suggestions, or they probably just tell people to be a zombie instead.

All skills are ill-adviced skills, even pre-morphed xD.

    Wrobel: "Hold ma bear"

Wondering how werewolf feel about 16% damage reduction...

P.S there's no werewolf or vampire build from Mr skill adviser.

Tanks need punture...why this isn't suggested bothers me. The sorc tank won't have ba taunt till rank 4 is undaunted, according to skill adviser. That's past lvl 50 or close to it.

I expected it to be clunky at the beginning, but to advise against liquid lighting and crystal fragment , I didnt see that one coming !

    That is just awesome

This is the most insanely idiotic implementation possible. They most likely created a structure saying that when A is X, this morph would be ill advised, and when A is Y, the other would be ill afvised (for example). This is a very simplistic and black and white way to implement this feature. What is good or not depends on more than just X or Y. I mean... there's just too many variables.

It would be a lot better to just inform people of the possibilities each skill and morph would bring. Introduce people to the principles of combat in pve AND pvp. Inform people that in order to do higher dps, it would be advised to stack dots and keep them up at all times, in stead of spamming 1 hard hitting skill. And on an ability such as endless hail, they could link it to this principle as an example, to make it visible and practical for people to translate these principles into concrete action.

If the current form is what it will end up to be, it will only make matter worse...

Not happy, not happy at all.

I mean it's just our gap closer that got reduced, but we are the LAST thing that needs nerfed so it's just dumb. They still didn't bother fixing our skills that don't work properly.
    Hoping for more playable races

on DK it's kinda broken aswell.

When i Putt 64 Points into Stamina, the Advisor should recognize this and automaticly adapt to a Stamina DK build, instead it told me my Nox Breath, Venom Claw ect. is wrong.

Atleast you can turn this thing off :disappointed:

To be fair, you can set it to read from a stam build in the adviser. Each class got a "recomended for new players," build, which in the case of the DK probably isn't Stam DPS.

This, it probably has a pre selected character load and tries to direct you to building that specific spec. It probably doesn't ever check what you're actually choosing along the way.

    I'm reserving judgment until Live.

For all we know, they intentionally put obviously incorrect notices on the Adviser so that testers would latch onto them and confirm them as being obviously incorrect. This is where /feedback reports are going to be more important than forum posts. Mostly because /feedback won't have memes and probably considerably fewer insults.

But do they read /fedback on PTS ?

Everytime I did one on live, I got zero reply from ZoS

Anyway that would be one of the worst communication strategy ever: show every body I know nothing on my own game, so people can confirm and correct me where Im wrong... that's weird

Ill-advised by who? Someone who never played this game competitively and pulls 8k DPS?

Seriously, if you intend to make something - do it properly or don’t do it at all. There are million guides for every role, class, whatever... No need to be creative, when you have limited knowledge.

I think it would be better if tips were more general (i.e. them being like "focus on investing in only one of magic or stam if your focus is to deal damage, and try to use skills and weapons that also use that resource" and "keep up a variety of skills that do damage over time"). Advised and ill-advised without a contextual reason feels off to me cuz it's the game makers explicitly saying "we made morphs, but this one is better so you should pick it" which makes the whole concept of morphs vs skills just "levelling up" feel weird.

I only checked DK Tank build . Last skill you get is Guard which you need level 5 in Alliance War trees . Build Advisor doesn't have Warhorn (requires level 4) in it . I can't even ...

Actually that makes total sense, DKs won't be able to afford to run warhorn anymore, they'll have to run Shield Wall so they can heavy attack to regain stamina.

Considering that the game is giving players ill-informed morph suggestions, now seems like a good time to finally remove morph respec costs and let players change them when out of combat. Seriously, having to respec the morphs hurts build testing/diversity and it is made worse when the game doesn't understand it's own mechanics.

Also, instead of telling players to respec why not explain why the morph is ill-advised in a sentence or two? The goal is to teach new players, not force them to spend gold respec'ing based on red text.

I understand the purpose of this is too make it so new players have an avenue to go down. With this being said they should do things like rift and let community member set the load outs along with a structured description of what to expect from said build. Teaching players that they should ignore key skills for their roles is bad. And will lead to the same amount of noob bashing as before.

But then again this is the first thing of its exsistance. I would like to see more PTS notes before I decided on a stance fully.
    PvP needs more love.

Fine, I stand by the meme. It lacks explantation and this far nicer then if this had went live. If this truly better then needs more explanation. How much dps will it help a new player compared to popular alternative? Because it will not have just face forums but general population query. If people say level advisor is just a waste of time and will lead down wrong path then this will lose its potential and purpose

I like idea of giving guild mates secret loadouts though. Very least should have some ability to grow. It could have theory community grow more. You will have people making builds work with x skills. As to say it should also advise amour.
