Not sure if you're all aware of this, but apparently crystal blast is the better morph of frags. The new skill system just told me

Whoa. I can see an argument about crystal blast, and the devs obviously love it and want it to be loved, but... lightning flood is just crap.
I bet they're advising templars to use healing ritual.

CombatPrayer✭✭✭✭This system should be dumped. It's idiotic. They don't even choose what seems to work. It's like they want to gimp new players with stupid right out of the gate.
If they think any morph is ill advised, they should fix it so that it's not. Did do tank at least have a taunt? The sorc tank is suggesting arrgo fire . Doesn't get to rank what was 4 undaunted?0 -

Yes , it had both taunts but Puncture was never morphed to Pierce Armor ... I kind of understand since healer will be running Elemental Drain but still ... Puncture was there ... That morph button was looking directly in my eyes ... ''please morph me... release me from this suffering...''5 -

I think it's very case dependent. Based on info from a friend, 'Beacon of Hope' healer advises Rushed Ceremony and Healing RitualI bet they're advising templars to use healing ritual.

It is one of the best skills a DK tank can use , especially knowing that every magicka dd will be switching back to fire blockade . I don't know why ZOS is doing this but I don't like it . Labeling skills as ''ill advised'' is just funny .6 -

✭✭✭Is it really just suggesting morphs as "ill advised" and "advised" or something without providing any insight whatsoever? That's not really helpful. Even assuming they fix the system suggesting morphs which are objectively worse in 99.5% scenarios, the system needs to tell the people WHY a certain choice is better/worse. Just saying "hey this works better" isn't helping because without understanding cause and consequence they'll have to forever rely on the system instead of making informed choices themselves.
It's a very good idea but sounds like it got a very bad implementation.4 -

Yeah I'm testing it on a new character (magplar) that I am using to test the leveling reward system. I set it to "Gleaming Champion" which is the setting for magplar dps.
It is still telling me off for not taking Vampires Bane.
There's absolutely no explanation of why some skills are better than others, it is also completely ignoring the fact that I don't have a destro staff equipped (I prefer DW magplar relying on class rather than weapon skills, resto on back bar for backup heals and HA mag restore).
I was expecting it not to get on with my build preferences tbh, but I wasn't expecting such a lack of information given - it's along the lines of "take this, don't take that" without any explanation - which sucks and doesn't help people to learn (or to learn that there are other ways to build characters).Edited by Epona222 on January 9, 2018 6:51AMGM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

ValkynSketha✭✭✭✭✭I am just wondering do devs play their game?, or even look at the game content creators work?, i have been playing wow recently, and the game director himself Ion Hazzikostas plays the game competitively he even has a guild and do the hardest content the game has to offer(mythic raiding) competitively. I know this is a work in progress, but come on not like this.
