It could be an artifact of instancing.
I would describe console and PC the same way. However, I solo quite a bit in Cyrodiil and track killing blows. Aside from the regular pvp crowd that I have connections with through guilds or whatnot, I am constantly amazed at how few repeats I get.
Interestingly, the instancing system outside of Cyrodiil is pretty seamless. There are only two ways I have been able to detect the instancing. One is logging out and back in when harvesting. The other way is with the equivalent of a LAN party, where toons from different accounts go to a zone before grouping (e.g., Craglorn). We have actually received a message asking approval to go to the instance the other account is in.
Consoles sales don't always correlate with games population. We saw this with Cod a few years ago. Most people agree that xbox has the largest population. Thid mainly have to do with their being no competition for ESO on xbox.PS4 has final fantasy for example.
Also, is it safe to assume the PS4 has significantly larger numbers playing?
I have the Xbox One X (which I believe improves visuals and loading times slightly over the "regular" Xbox One) and was wondering how it compares to the PS4 version?
Also, is it safe to assume the PS4 has significantly larger numbers playing?
Xbox is joke in Europe, only PlayStation exists (excluding UK).Consoles sales don't always correlate with games population. We saw this with Cod a few years ago. Most people agree that xbox has the largest population.
