I used to think that playing magsorc got you the best hate tells, but that honor is reserved solely for stamnb. Outplaying nerds on stamnb is so powerful, that other stamnbs will rage tell you and slot mark.

After forcing myself to play one in PVP. I have a changed opinion about them. I am still not a super fan of the gank play style but it was a very different way of playing than what I have been used too with Wardens/DK's/Stam Sorcs in PVP. Overall it was a fun class to play. I played a Stam Nightblade.

I would say I downgraded my very strong dislike to nightblades to a "Meh". I understand them much better now (At least stamblades). I do have a new respect for players that kill me in seconds with a gank blade as I found it hard to do consistently.

The truly best hate tell is the one you get from the stamNB who calls you names for using detect pots.

I wouldn't say I hate nightblades. I do dislike the guys who sit in the far back of a fight or atop a keep wall and spam snipe on you while you're tryna have a decent fight, it just so happens that more often than not; those guys are nightblades.

I watched a CP300 stamsorc ruin a max CP NB the other day, presumably using detect pots. I can understand some degree of frustration when getting zerged hard by players countering cloak, but not in a 1v1.

You made me laugh hard with this option. It's completely true. Every time I run around, I can see at least 3-5 NB from my faction hiding close by.

The best nightblades know exactly when to reset the fight and they do it well. The most annoying ones can't fight their way out of a paper bag but still reset the fight over and over and stay on you like a mosquito. They can't kill you and you can't be bothered to play hide and seek with them.

When I group with them, they still play as if they were solo

So I was grouping with a Mag NB the other day.

I was about to die - I was on my stamden and had a few people chasing me and I was taking a lot of dmg. Then the Mag MB cast healing ward on me, which allowed me to heal up, turn around, and DB + shalks + reverse slice the people following me.

I was so happy. I’d never grouped with a mag Nb that uses teamwork before. I’d never been saved by a NB before!

New thoughts went through my head: Maybe I was wrong! Maybe nightblades can be good team players!

I was getting ready to thank him in group chat because my whole world has just been turned upside down.

Then I look at group chat:

“GOD DAMNIT STOP STEALING MY WARDS”

back to business as usual I guess.

Only thing that triggers me is their dirty incaps when outnumbered/outzerged.
In zergy fights they dont bother as much.

And that shade is semi-broken still.

They are 200% more likely to trash talk than other classes

I don't hate NBs at all really, but I do find that the saltiest tells come from them.

Nightblades are pure cowards that run from the 1st sign of resistance and attempt to reset a fight whenever they detect trouble; its a cheap cheese ball class that promotes cheap cheese ball tactics...

Once upon a time they were the most hated class in the game for me and I died against them frequently...

Nowadays I still dislike them, but they are now my favorite class to fight against as I've become better at killing them than any other class in the game; now I kill them far more than I die to them...

Now I use a combo of Immovable/Detection Pots, Purifying Light, and strong undodgable AoE's; this melts most Nightblades into a satisfying mound of goo...

I love crushing Nightblades nowadays...

I was soloing on my stamnb in sotha yesterday and as I was killing guards at a resource this guy comes up and tries to fight me. So I killed him, he came back two more times and died, and finally brought 3 friends to finish the job as I was starting to flip the flag. A friend whispered me that he was raging in zone to come help him kill this nb.

I don't hate nightblades. Even when one of the slippery little *** suddenly appears from nowhere and puts me in the dirt.

I have mained a Nightblade since beta... I understand the class, they don't bother me any more than any other class.

Last week a sorc started crying at me in tells because I blasted him on a flag while he was killing NPC's at Vlast.

He was full health but had no wards running and only had 19k health... he asked for it. He should have expected it. He could have heard my dark cloak, he could have kept shields running, he could have run stronger defense instead of thinking this was PvE with a side of PvP on his terms.
I wasn't looking for a duel, I was there to take Vlast and press on to Brindle... I didn't know if he had another friend around... I killed him fast, and he was salty. I don't even run a ganker build, so if you get downed by me with two to three shots, its your fault.

Nightblades keep you on your toes.

There was another thread in the Alliance war forums about hate tells. StamNB send the most hate tells out of all classes according to this thread.

While I have only seen this once, and killed many a NB, I still believe this myth to be true.

Nightblades are arguably the best solo pvp class out there though, both mag and stam (if shade ever gets fixed)...

This is 100% true...

2 aspects of my build was designed specifically with Nightblades in mind:

Mighty Chudan x2 (so that Major Ward/Resolve is up at all times to help against their burst in a gank situation)...

Radiant Magelight on both bars (to protect me from the stun from their stealth attacks no matter what I am doing)...

IMHO, if you are going to be spending any significant time in Cyrodiil, you gotta take into consideration the fact that there will be a lot of Nightblades sneaking around and that they all want your blood...
