10,000,000 players? Are they having a laugh?

Even if the true figure is half that it is still more than WoW has and they are supposed to be "the" mmo others gauge their success in terms of accounts against.

Smeg, even if it is a 10th of that it is still impressive considering the server design.

There is absolutely no way ESO has a larger active playerbase than WoW.

No one knows what the active player base in wow is anymore since Blizzard does not provide sub numbers.
But you can bet they have been losing subs since CRZ is implemented everywhere.

Actually Legion hit the pop more than CRZ

    Lmao in what? PvP?

ESO have the best PvP system ever created in an MMO but they don't deserve it since the dev team is worse than Activision in releasing meaningful content and the PvE in this game, well, sometimes I wonder how the raiding guilds are still excited about this game when the existing raids are the equivalent difficulty of a dungeon in Guild Wars 2 or WoW and where the rewards are pointless.

ESO is in the top 10 but is definitely not in the top 5, after One Tamriel Zenimax released horrible updates without content and its been a year already.

When Tera and BDO will come to consoles I think ESO population on console will decrease so much and atm PS4 have the same amount of people than on PC.

More content than Swtor's 1 instance, and 2 raid bosses a year

What a crock. "Steady positive progress". "Not just doing the bare minimum". Someone got paid for this crap.

But then again, anyone who's seen anything in reguards to the 'game's journalism' media knows -exactly- how review scores are tailored. Men get fired for too low a score or too negative a review.

I know Bree and Justin from Massively pretty well, while we differ on almost everything Politically, I can honestly say they are stand up people with families and responsibilities....they aren't the type to take payoffs. They are also against most forms of crates and keys...so by pointing the finger at them you are shooting at an ally for your cause

Your post is cringe worthy for a couple reasons, you are accusing Massively of taking payola for positive reviews and you are accusing ZoS of paying off Game Journos for positive articles. Just so you know that would earn you a forum ban on most MMO's these days.

This accusation however is utter nonsense, because if they were going to do that they would have paid off Angry Joe, because he accepts payoffs and has been caught a few times doing so, his hit piece damages the reputation of this game still, and his fanattical followers (that want more skyrim now) still troll these forums..... so if they were going to pay anyone it would have been that slime bucket.

But hey what do I know, I'm just the Whale, White Knight and must be working for Zos right? :=/

Nice to see what those reskinned mount sales will pay for.

    what is gamespace again?

Never heard of the place until now.

But, ESO is my game of the year and I don't care what any website says.

It's basically MMORPG.com. Mostly the same writers and editors, different name. Both are registered to Craig McGregor
    of Cyber Creations Inc.

Of course, they give FF XIV game of the year on one and ESO on the other. Make everyone happy so the advertisers will keep spending the cash.
