2nd Boss Top Team needs to make sure to be able to kill the spheres in time, also know how to disable the shields of the spheres fast so they can damage the spheres faster.
What also helps is if someone that goes up slots Elemental Drain to debuff the enemy.
Ideally, I'd say 30k is the minimum when you have good time on target (when a boss is stationary). 30k is pretty doable on most classes, so it isn't an unreasonable goal.
With the bosses and fights being the way they are, it's pretty likely that your overall dps will be noticeably lower. The biggest dps boost for most groups out there is to stop dying. It sounds obvious, but given the way deaths cascade in there and how many CC/one shot mechanics there are... rezzing ends up being a nightmare that drops the group dps dramatically.
Your dps priority #1 is to survive. Use your shields, use your blade cloak/vigor, dodge roll centurion heavy attacks, use whatever you have. It will be a dps loss for sure, but nowhere near as bad as dying.
