Which vampire stage would you say is the most monstrous

Stage 1 means we drink the blood of other people and we drink a lot, or Stage 4 sure they look more monstrous, but they actually go out of there way not to feed on other people (Vamporexic I call it)

✭Stage four is more monstrousI get what you’re trying to say, but vampires that refrain from feeding for whatever reason seem to become more monstrous the longer they go. Traditionally, vampires that don’t feed often enough go mad. All bloodfiends are permanently in stage 4, which means they probably went insane from starvation or uncontrollable lust.
Saying a vampire that feeds on people is monstrous is only a matter of perspective, and a rather narrow perspective at that.1 -

Not really tradition in TES. There's a few vampires who have explicitly gone without feeding for extended periods of time, and are still quite sane. My impression was that bloodfiends simply went insane from their hunger, not that they starved themselves to that point.1 -

Those vampires are the exception, not the rule. 99% of vampires aren’t able to control themselves like that. Kind of goes against the entire concept. Even morally “good” vampires like Gwendis struggle to keep their appetites in check, and that’s while being reasonably well-fed. By far my favorite part of oblivion, I refused to wait so I had to camp out in caves, or zig zag around town, I Could really feel like I was cursed but Could also feel how strong I became, at stage 4 every stat went up I felt strong the pros and cons where perfect, far better then skyrims vamp mechanics.
But my favorite part was drinking blood mechanics you had to be smart and cautious
