We are currently investigating connection issues some players are having on the European megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

On Xbox One there are 2 groups
Group 1: The Elitist *** that can do like 50k+ dps and think they can do vet maelstrom with both hands tied in there sleep or 1vx like a boss and everyone that can't is a scrub that needs to get gud.
Group 2: people that are cool, friendly and awsome but have no idea how to play and will probably never complete a trial or do vet anything that don't mind being bad at the game.
The rarest group is group 3 people that are both good at the game and cool to chill with I've met less than 2 dozen of these people in my time on eso

Yep, I'm in group 3. The reason you can't find us is because we're not in any of the high end trading/raid/PvP guilds. We don't like "drama" and will usually end up leaving any guild because of it. On the rare occasion we do find someone like us, we'll normally add them as a friend. Guilds are just too much trouble to manage. Guilds we are in will only include a few close friends that we've gamed with for a while (usually across multiple MMOs).

OP i read your post in full, and I think you shouldn't have made it. You are letting your inexperience of mmo shine and poking at a hot topic debate. Though you mention the 2 groups are not the only group, you omitted them. Lol and divinity are not mmo, so mentioning them serves no purpose of understanding.

The way you set up post, is under the assumption players in each group only plays ESO. When mmo communities are more complex then that. Some new people do come from other MMO and are savvy on how mmo work. I am new to ESO, but I have 10 years past experience in MMO Such as ff11, ff14. While some vets, this could be their first and only MMO, and still learning the concept of MMO.

Also your post can be simplified into Vets are jerks, and newbies are dumb. Which is very insulting, and pokes at the Hardcore vs casual debate that is better left alone.

People are trying to explain to you in simply terms that your generalization is weakly set up and comes off insulting, which it does.

I would suggest doing some research into mmo before posting something that is kinda insulting.

hope the op sees and tries to understand instead of blindly defending their post. Im guessing they are not experienced enough in mmo, to not understand that what was said is poking at a hot topic debate.

Everything in society has cliques, groups and subgroups and anti- groups. But trying to present the conversation like the op isn't good. It does come off as a white vs black topic, and my first expression was a WoW style /facepalm.

Relax mate, it's just an internet forum. Anybody who cares about some post about a game takes life too seriously.

While it's true that you can't be overly serious with the internet given its plethora of trolls, you're probably on the young side and awakened into a world of communicating with people via text. This isn't the world old timers see. Every post is read as though it were said with the person standing before you, as we once did with our friends in the before time, in the long long ago. Should a person say such things openly you are more than right to educate, correct, or contradict them. After all, if they have the right to share their personal views, do you not share the same privilege?

The older MMO crowd was quite used to helping people improve, sharing our knowledge and experience to overcome tactics that today any child knows by heart. Given how introverted most gamers are it's even possible that the OP was unaware of how much of a faux pas posting this would be.

I remember when I tuned to lvl 50 CP160 with my "firemage dk", bought a Julianos and something along with it from the store and expected for a miraculous 40K vet boss parse. :) That was the point when I realized how much should I learn an practice. It was a year ago but still doing it.
Others looked around and thought, healers has shorter dungeon queues :)
next up is tanking :) its an long term process.
Extra bonus people don't want to kick CP690, especially not healers in SPC or tanks in ebon even if gear is very sturdy and well fitting :) and yes vCoA2 cant be much harder than vCOa1?
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I always though there were 3 types of people. Those that were good in math and those that weren't.
