Just had a moment in ESO where I learned what honest behavior (which is what I believe this community tries to do) looks like.
<I got a Runebox I didn't need. Offers to sell the runebox for 500 gold.>
<Get into a pm conversation with a Nord player, who offers to buy for 500 gold.>
<Groups up with Nord player, gets into trade window.>
<Puts Runebox in trade window, waits for player to put in 500 gold.>
<Player puts in 1500 gold, but by the time I noticed I had already traded.>
Nord player (unaware he typed in an extra 1): ty
Me: Sir, you are aware that I sold it for 500 gold, right?
Nord player: What?
Me: You gave me 1500 gold, not 500 gold. I can send you the extra 1000 gold back via mail.
<At that point, Nord player runs back to me, and initiates a trade window.>
<I give back 1000 gold, player thanks me, I wish him Happy Holidays and log out for the day.>
If more people were like me, and did this type of honest behavior, this community would be the best community to ever exist in the universe.
