this ability is *** stupid, if its on you and you get low health you are 100% dead, ive even had it kill me above 40% health before, its stupid
i vote give sorcs the ability to stun people with frags & make their execute the same as all the other executes

Yes, strongest class confirmed, #nerfsorc

The only place where magsorc is decent - zerg surfing and kill stealing... The only place where sorc execute is used.

There is a reason it is like this, it fits with the rotation and is unique, don't change that. Procplosion however could use some changes.

Its still probably the best mag class solo, maybe tied with NB/warden.

I'm not about nerf sorcs but I feel his pain tbh. But a good sorc will time the execute with their burst so it goes off the second you go under 20%

My personal opinion. For them to make sorcs not *** again. Either return frags to how they were or increase ward duration.

i never said its the strongest class, im saying the execute is too strong, it should just work like all other executes
its literally an instant kill in situations i know im able to recover from, literally killed me well above 30/40% health in the past
im saying id rather have a normal execute on sorc and a frags that stuns over no stun on frags and a crazy good execute, its literally the best execute in the game hands down

if you honestly think that sorc isnt decent unless you're zerg surfing and kill stealing, maybe you're the one that needs to "git guud" as you say

Magblade is honestly meh atm, due to shade not working

sorc is definitely better for soloing. If only I could bring myself to grind that amberplasm...

It only works from 20% if you are dying from higher than that then there is other damage at play to drop you below 20% to proc the execute.

Looks like you are confusing multiple attacks with one.

(BTW, I already don't use it - no space on my bar. That's how good it is)

It's definitely a skill you need to play around, and I do feel like it could do with a tweak or two, but it's not going to lose you a fight on its own.

In order for Mages Wrath to kill you, an enemy needs to chunk you down to the point where it deals enough damage to kill you.

It's like seeing a Warden put down their beetles, or a Nightblade prep Relentless, you can see the opponent is prepping a big hit, and you need to play a bit defensive to mitigate it, or pressure them so that they can't make use of it.

As far as changes, the only thing I'd suggest is lower the duration slightly, or force the Sorc who casted it to deal damage in order to proc it.

yee i getchya, its just like, im easily able to recover form 20% health fighting other classes, but you cant with sorc? its silly

Sorcs are all about delayed burst. They spend multiple cooldowns setting that up, during which you take a lot less damage than you would from a class/build that gives more sustained damage. That is your window for recovery.
You gotta recover between the bursts and learn to see those bursts coming to reduce them (they are the most telegraphed in game - you just need to know what to watch for and how to counter.

The feeling I get every time I die to it is this "I knew that would happen, why did I let that happen...."
If you've ever had the same feeling then you know it's counterable. Yes noobs get lucky but there are Jedi's out there. I've fought nb's that I knew packed fear but I didn't have the right pots or have a cleanse or blah, blah blah. That's where nb's are best. Finding the physical hole in your build. Same w/ sorc, can u take the burn and for how long

Makes it literally impossible to recover when you hit below %50.
I wish it was stronger but harder to apply.

yeah people seem to think its just a l2p issue with myself, but its not
its such a cheesy ability, i dont see why it cant just work like all other executes, it would still be possible to time burst if it was so i dont see the problem

Because it fits the sorc playstyle and its good that its unique. Not everything should be the same. It would be very boring.
That being said, it is a toxic mechanic and it should be reworked to be more skill based.

I’d like to see them turn it into a debuff

“Target takes an extra 100% dmg when under 30% health”

That would also fix the “kill stealing” problem in battlegrounds.

If anything like this, then only a damage increase for the casting sorc, please.

I also don't see how this is making it any more skill based anyway... you just apply that and then continue spamming something else until the target dies. Unless it's such a short duration as the current version, which then wouldn't even be worth to cast it in the first place.

Only thing I feel is weird about the execute is how it will stay on you for a few seconds.....remove that part and I´m fine with the skill

everyone already got used to using clench. I would be much happier if two hand weapons would count as two pieces from sets... if magsorcs want to use master/assylum/vma weapon front bar - they cant use 5x5x2x1 special weapon as back bar resto is a must for instant heal, though everyone would love to run s&b back bar...

Seriously people still want to Nerf Sorc? Which patch are you playing as I think you need an update.

If wrath / fury alone kills you at 40% well out of its execute phase you have bigger issues

Thing is, that is just one step away from destroying the whole 'delayed burst' mechanic that sorc has. And if it DID happen, then dmg and execute threshold would need to increase to be on-par with other executes.

If it does change t make the execute less harsh, I'd like it to do more non-execute damage and less execute dmg (same overall when hitting a target below 20%) - so it *almost* gives sorcs a weak spammable.

i never had an issue with crystal frags stunning, it was fine

its always the sorcs that say sorc is underpowered lul, theres no bigger issue at all, this game is a buggy game, and sorc execute will sometimes still kill you even if you have recovered health from 20%

I think sorcs should only have Light Attack and maybe Heavy to, but i fear that might be OP on them.
