Spell crafting system, one hand & rune
New Battle Royale Free-For-All deathmatch mode for battlegrounds
New arena category of player housing, allows us to design our own battlegrounds matches with traps and monsters etc - maybe the best player designed arenas become official maps
If they add another class balance will RIP

nonsense, why would one more or less class rip balance, you can have a hundred classes if you keep systems in place that assure balance and test things properly and listen to feedback - it has nothing to do with the number of classes

It might be posible to use it to fill in gaps, however it would easy be unbalancing in many ways, synergy is one major. It would also be an major buff to magic build over stamina because increased flexibility.Waffennacht wrote: »I don't see spell crafting. Balancing nightmare for sure
Is this different from the current situation?
All Spellcrafting will do is make combat way more diverse and interesting.... as long as nothing ridiculously OP pops up that isn’t nerfed on PTS ofc.
People could play through content using full Flame, Shock, or Ice builds. Cool stuff like that. Most importantly they could do this and actually be powerful, which is impossible for “Ice Mage” builds atm.
Idk. I look forward to it immensely though I can understand the sentiment of those opposed to Spellcrafting. In the end, it will 100% be great or horrible based on how Wroble handles it.

If it can be used for buffs then it changes stuff, also utility. Best would be to make them a bit weaker than class and weapon abilities, so it would not replace them but help even out the classes. It might be posible to use it to fill in gaps, however it would easy be unbalancing in many ways, synergy is one major. Not necessarily. Stamina builds use their Magicka pools for buffs. I know that Stam DKs especially don’t have to much use of their Magicka pool. Crafted spells will be extremely helpful for Stam build buffs.
Also who knows. I’m sure they’ll allow Stam morphs on certain skills. No way to tell yet.
It’ll be a buff to everyone. Mainly it will open up many new play styles for Magicka. Probably not better playstyles.... but many new, viable playstyles regardless.
Ofc, like I said, it all depends on Wrobel.

So every class is going to run around using the same OP crafted spells?
Why do people on here ask for spell-crafting? It's never going to happen. Balance would be completely ****** and no one would use base-skills ever again. This is not a direction they would want to go in. Are there any other MMOs or any multi-player games in general that have a spell or ability crafting system? I can't think of one. If there is I'm willing to bet it's unbalanced to all hell.

They can balance out those "op" spells after implementing it.
I dont care if everyone runs same spells. Cyro is full of nightblades and eots trains anyways.
Why not get rid of base classes at this point?

DKs are by far the most popular class on Xbox NA Vivec rn. The fact that both of us feel that one class is played more than the other proves diversity is real in this game. Spell-crafting would kill that. Either the crafted spells will be better than the spells we already have or they will be worse. If they are better no one will use class abilities, if they are worse no one will use the crafted abilities.
It's never going to happen. Never ever forever. I promise.

Why does anyone event want spellcrafting ? Are we playing the same game?
Until someone you don't think should beat you somehow aces the new skills and craps all over you....ThePrinceOfBargains wrote: »Waffennacht wrote: »I don't see spell crafting. It would create such a huge disparity among players, those in the know would completely dominate those not so.

“Those that know how to play the game would beat those that don’t.”
Totally unfair.
